Jinza Teriyaki — Restaurant in Tacoma

I came here because I’m from out of town and dealing with some stuff with my dog at the emergency vet around the corner and I’m really glad I did come here. It’s been a long weekend and long day and this meal and the friendly demeanor of the lady who helped me really hit how I needed it to right now. The chicken is juicy and tender and the sauce isn’t too thick or overly sweet. The gyoza are crispy and juicy and the sauce is extra vinegar-y which I can’t get enough of. The house dressing has more of a sesame flavor than I’m used to, is thicker, and not overwhelmingly sweet.

Delicious, filling, and warm hospitality. The area is a little sketch, but the food is worth it.

i had been a loyal customer for 17 years. I ordered the shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp and gyozas. I used to brag about the food, until 3 mo ago. I placed my order as a to go in person. upon trying to eat some of rice, I was surprised that it was burnt. I called the restaurant to let them know about the fixable issue. the response was upsetting because the woman on the phone did not believe me therefore she refused to make it right. My friend raves this teriyaki restaurant. The service was excellent and fast. But I had asked for extra sauce, expecting a small cup of it with my meal, but the girl replied it is on my meat. I ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner which was a good size portion. Unfortunately, it was without any sauce . There was flavor and the meat was tender and juicy to a point, but no sauce was disappointing. My husband also reflects this review, he looked to me like I forgot the sauce, so only 2 stars.
