Never have I been so angry at a place! My husband brings home an xl pho I open up the broth and immediately say what kind of broth is this? It was light colored and I could see the bottom of the container. I thought maybe they just use some other broth like chicken broth or something . Then I taste it and it’s clear what you did. You literally added water to our broth to water it down and save money I’m guessing or you were running low because it was the end of the day. I can literally taste the sink water taste and am pissed. You can see in my photo the “broth” is almost clear. I tried to add seasoning so I could just eat it and have something for dinner but it was so gross I just dumped it out. I’ve eaten at a dozen pho places and have never had them do this to broth. I try to call to complain and your phone doesn’t work!! For a new business you won’t last long doing this kind of BS. I would’ve gone back to complain and get my money back if I didn’t have a newborn and wasn’t exhausted. I wish I could give you -10 stars.

Dine in experience left a lot to be desired. I love Phó and the reason I stopped in was because my favorite place is closed for the holiday. The dine in bowls are the same as take out and they keep them separate from the trash, which makes me think they reuse it which is weird to me. The same person who rang us up also was our waitress and made our boba tea. She ended up becoming pretty backed up; I highly recommend the owner to hire another person, that way people aren’t turned down because one person is overwhelmed with too many orders. The phó itself was just okay. The broth had little to no meat flavor, and mainly just cinnamon and cardamom which is super disappointing. Needless to say I won’t be back, but their boba tea was really good although pricy for how small it was. Not sure the can like lid on top is a great design either since it’s metal.

Family 👪 owned Franchise Cash/Card accepted Free public parking Great for family and friends Restroom 🚻 inside Vietnamese cuisine Price a bit above average (💰💰💸) 3 1/2 money bags A worth mentioning Vietnamese cuisine restaurant between Lakewood and Tacoma is i5 Pho. Owners were inviting and sincere. They sell a variety of food on their menu. You can use their QR code to order digitally or the old fashion way. On top of that they also offer merchandises and home made chili sauce. A bit run downed inside, but their food is delicious. Although prices are a bit expensive, their quality is worth mentioning. They have a self serve water area, but be cautious at times because people have the tendency to drink and refill at the same spot. Overall a good recommendation for a quick spot to grab and go. Will be coming back here for more.

My friend and I first came because we were meeting up for dinner and a movie. Knowing there weren't restaurants close to Lakewood cinema 15, I was pleasantly surprised when I searched on yelp and here this place was. The pictures and the reviews made me curious! It is cute, simple and yet the details of the decorative ingredients show that the food is a priority to them (as well as customer service). After eating (steak pho, egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls), I knew I had to bring my husband who is known for telling people who talk about pho, "the best pho I ever had was on the side of the street in Vietnam! We had 2 bowls of pho and 2 beers for $4!." Needless to say, He is a tough critic! I talked to one of the owners, Phung, and he was excited to have my husband come give it a try! A few days later, I brought my husband and 2 toddlers and all were happy! Nobody batted an eye when my kids got noodles all over or spilled their drink. The kids enjoyed their rainbow milk tea and shrimp vermicelli bowl (I think this and the spring rolls are the best things we have tried) and my husband loved his chicken vermicelli bowl. WIN!!! We now have a pho place in Tacoma, and I am the one who found it! The pros: -upon entering, my friend and I exchanged gifts and wished each other "happy birthday," and then 5 minutes later a plate of egg rolls appeared (on the house) for the birthday girls. -the customer service is wonderful. You can tell that although the servers are new, they are learning and they ALL want to succeed. They want to do well, and they want the customers to enjoy the experience. We are!! This will soon be a well oiled machine. The owners are personable and are open to the thoughts and opinions of the customers. They really do care. -the food is fantastic. Fresh and flavorful. We look forward to trying the Bahn Mi Dip soon (but can these compare to the ones we got in Hoi An from a lady selling them off a street cart?). Their spring rolls are perfection. -it's clean. And there is an open kitchen to see the behind the scenes.

The cons: -although kid friendly, there aren't high chairs. There were 4 babies/toddlers in the restaurant, so I am sure a few high chairs would make all us parents feel a little more comfortable! -it doesn't seem to be the default to serve small plates when the apps are served, so when sharing an appetizer, be sure to ask for an extra plate.

Thank you! Best pho in Tacoma, and we will be...

I first came to i5 pho when they opened. I went because they had sent me a buy one get one free pho coupon. My little sister and I used to have sister dates pre-Covid and so we decided to try this new place out.

We are part Japanese and we are very picky with our Asian food. It's really hard to find a pho place that has a complex and developed broth. Good broth takes time to develop those aromatics.

I5 pho is where its at. Not only was the pho broth probably the best we have ever had, but we also had the mango shrimp spring rolls they had on special, and they were magical. That sauce they serve with it...superb!

Just a couple days ago I went back, I now live in Lacey so I made the drive! I ordered the fish sauce wings...and pho. The pho was exactly how I remembered it and really hit the spot. I'm on a strict diet and I just order broth and meat and leave put the noodles. Still just as satisfying. I also wanted to try the fish sauce wings.

Now, when you hear fish sauce you are probably thinking that it's going to taste of fish or smell like fish. Wrong. These wings are nice and crispy. The fish sauce is sweet, salty and has a tiny bit of heat to them. You get a soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and honey vibe. It's well worth a try. Especially on Wing Wednesday.

See that's the other great thing about i5 pho. They are so creative and always and I mean always offering deals. They do giveaways all the time on Instagram. They post great content. They do wing Wednesday (BOGO wings guys!!) Their bubble tea cups are the best you will ever see...

Quality food. Quality content. Quality people. Quality customer service.

Covid makes things so much harder for businesses. Support i5 pho. The people here are amazing. The food is quality and amazing. Even through this pandemic, they are still giving back to the community.

I'd give the galaxy of stars but they only...

Combo Deal $17 Includes Small Shrimp Pho & 6 Fish Sauce Wings

My husband couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the wings are. He said they are the crunchiest wings he has ever had and the flavors are the perfect ratio. I also read reviews beforehand and the wings were said to be “Food Network Worthy”. All of this hype and to my surprise.... everything that was said about it was correct. The wings were absolutely perfect! All I can say if you have to try it for yourself. I expected the fish sauce to be fishy but nope. I personally hate fishy foods and this was not fishy at all. I can only describe it as a subtle orange chicken flavor. Really really really amazing!

The Shrimp Pho was also really great. Nothing too special about it but I mean that in a nice way. Some pho places mess up on the broth and the spices but this pho was a perfect basic pho and seasoning can be added to make it perfect to your taste preferences. They give you sweet sauce, chili sauce, limes, and veggies.

The combo deal was the best deal I’ve had so far. The quality of the food and the option of having both of their signature dishes is a great move on their part.

Thai Tea Boba $5.50 What can I say? Everything I tried at I5 pho was incredible and that goes for the Thai Tea Boba. Not too sweet and packaged in the classiest way I’ve seen!

Moral of my review... this is...
