Ranch Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in Taft

UPDATED 3/8/21 Very disappointed in the service and quality of the food. Once again we were in for a small family lunch and the waitress had no clue as to what she was doing. Our order was taken and myself and my sons food was completely forgotten to be cooked. How do you do that? After requesting our place settings twice my son had to go get them for us. Our drinks weren't refilled the entire time we were there. We have raised our family using this restaurant as our go to for everything and it saddens my heart that it seems to have just fallen in quality of service and food. And yes we have been back several times within the last 2 years.

3/19 It has been our go to place for 32 years some of that was when it was still Hahns in the old building. However we were in yesterday for a quick family lunch and noticed that all of the regular waitresses were not there and one new face was all that was there waiting tables. It was not busy at all we were the only ones in and my son had to get up and get our place settings , she brought pitchers of tea that was watered down and while delivering our salads managed to spill salad dressing down the side of my 1 year old granddaughters face. My BF has lived in this town for 20 years and had never gone to this restaurant. He and I both visited for our first time yesterday and unfortunately we doubt we will be returning We ordered the sampler platter and the best thing on it were the mozzarella sticks but even those you could tell came from the frozen food section at the supermarket. He ordered the fish and chips which were GREASY. I mean you could taste the oil on both the fish and chips not very appealing. I ordered the Ribeye (medium well) with a baked potato. The steak was dry and hard to chew. My potato only came with sour cream. Luckily I at least got that and I was given canned green beans as my other side. First time traveler through Taft. My sister and I decided to stop by for dinner while passing the town. We came here because they had a veggie burger, which my sister first made sure of when we walked in. I had requested a regular beef burger, as my sister did a veggie, we ordered to go.
