They are incredibly rude and refused to serve me even though I had a legit ID that showed that was over 21. They said I didn't look like myself I just had a different hairstyle and different glasses but it was my face. I wasn't drunk or belligerent I just wanted a beer. They are horrible. Don't bother going here. I even told them to call the police to prove what I was saying to be true. They decided to ignore me but still let me stay at the bar. If the truly believed I was using a fake ID why would they continue to let me sit at the bar while my friend (the same age as me) sipped her drink. And why not take me up on my offer of calling the police?
Eventually I decided to call the cops myself as I knew I was being discriminated against. Officers showed up and I showed them my ID. Their expressions were priceless. They said I look exactly like my photo but with a different hairstyle. Officer Simmons talked to one of the managers who still didn't believe I was myself even though three cops confirmed it. Eventually I got my beer and obviously left no tip. They gave no apology for their behavior which says everything. The officer told me they had some trouble with fake IDs but my ID obviously wasn't fake and I looked like my photo. Maybe they have vision problems I'm not sure.
My advice is don't go here if you even look slightly different than you photo ID. If you have a new hairstyle, glasses, a beard, a piercing forget it! Or unless you have an officer on speed dial it's...
Read moreMe and my Girl we went there for dinner at around 11PM and it was a Monday so the restaurant was empty. As soon as we sat we were server with chips and salsa; classic Mexican restaurant, I didn’t try it because I don’t eat it so I can’t speak on the flavor. One thing you must be aware. Is that the drinks aren’t refill. The water they sell is bottled (so you pay for that) also every soda is canned. So do not expect the regular refill in which most restaurants in America have. Here you will be paying for everything you drink. The menu is a great point for the restaurant. Well organized and self explaining. One thing that most Mex restaurants lack is showing every single thing that comes with each plate. They do a great job, not only writing everything that comes but also showing pictures for those who are not familiar with Mex food, great feature. Then I ordered some cheese popusas for appetizer and it was good. Then for the actual dinner I had beef burrito while my girlfriend had enchiladas. They both come in a plate with a lotta food. White rice, beans, etc. you get very full for eating these dinner platter. I just wasn’t very much amused by the burrito. I don’t think there was much rich flavors in it. Also the sauce it come with does not taste very good. It was very mid actually. But in general you leave the restaurant satisfied and knowing that every time you go there. You won’t feel empty...
