This is the first and last time I tried first takeout restaurant. We ordered two combination plates which what is about $9 plus tax which should have been about around $20. As the combination plates does not come with a side of Chow Mein noodles, I asked if I can have a side of shrimp chow mein to which they responded they have to give me a combination not just a small side. But they said they would give me a large side of shrimp Chow Mein. ( instead she charged me for a full combo plate which was another $10 and did not tell me she was charging me a combo plate) so the total was $31 and some change. After we came home, I look at the order, and I didn't see the shrimp chow mein noodles that I ordered instead I seen this slimy looking cabbage with bits and pieces of undercooked shrimp.🍤 when I called her back I told her that I ordered shrimp chow mein and it's usually more noodley but I got some cabbage looking stuff and she responded with... "The noodle dish I'm talking about is called lo mein not chow mien, and you ordered chow mein and thats your fault not ours." Cutting my losses, I said okay thank you and she hung up not offering to make it right. I Google Chow Mein noodles and lo mein noodles and what's the difference, and they are BOTH a noodle based dish. What I got was a slimy cabbage with little bits of pieces of shrimp not a single noodle was inside of their I'll never go back to that place again

I don’t complain much, but I ordered a pick up for low mein, received chow mein and it was very soggy, and didn’t taste fresh. Nonetheless the food here is normally good! Also they usually put yum yum sauce in but they’re charging 50 cents now.

First house is always good. No buffet but you still get alot of food for a great price. Friendly staff. The building looks shady but the food is great. I get the Happy Family lunch special everytime

First house is absolutely the best Chinese food I've ever had if I were to go to China I think I would probably say it's the exact same as what we're getting here in Talladega Mamma Mia makes some awesome authentic Chinese food she doesn't put any of the Damned ESG msg's or whatever the hell that poison is. They do not use it and their food is always amazing I absolutely love their food and I'm not a fan of Chinese food but I have become a fan since you eating there's I love the shrimp and lobster sauce that is my favorite and then I would go with the Mongolian beef amazing dishes they make egg rolls are to Perfection they're always perfectly cooked from the outside to the inside which I have never experienced not sure how Mamma Mia does it but it's awesome. Eating inside pretty easy it's not really busy inside too much so you don't have a long way or anything there's more than enough seating I think that place will probably hold 200 people but she seems to do more of a takeout business and if your order it's always 15 minutes never fails and when she tells you 15 minutes it's 15 minutes you don't wait so give them a try I promise you won't die except you'll think you died and went to Chinese food having it's pretty dang good Hallelujah...

Year's ago they had really good food and service but not so much now. We are there a few months ago and my boyfriend had not just one but a few hairs in it. We decided since that's been months ago and the only Chinese resturant in Talladega that we would try it again. We understand mistakes do happen and sometimes it's your employees you have to get rid of or a number of reasons. Anyways we ordered from there tonight and we regret it. My boyfriend ordered chicken and shrimp fried rice and it was literally notthing but raw onions. It had all kind of wild raw onions and 4 other kinds. The smell was even awful cause that was all you smelled. When hed ordered that before it didn't even have onions in it. It was just awful! I'm not one to complain and have never done a bad review online but this is ridiculous. On top of everything our food cost $29.00 for some chicken and shrimp fried rice (well basically was just raw onions and rice) , sesame chicken with fried rice and noodles. I think we've learned our listen to never eat there again. Now I'm going to try to get this awful wild onion smell out...
