Red Bowl — Restaurant in Talladega

•Just wanted to add to this. Came again and ordered dessert, didn't receive that and had to wait after finishing dinner for 40 minutes. The waiter didn't say anything about our dessert and excused himself saying he was told he had two tables. One of 8 and one of 3 then myself and my partner. After having a long day working hearing someone complain whole also not receiving dessert is just a bummer. This is the only proper asian place to come to sit down and eat around here. And every time I come here the workers talk to us almost until we leave, we hardly ever eat unsupervised or unaccompanied.This restaurant is okay. Better than NOT having a sushi place I guess. But this time is not cool. Nor only did they not de-vein the shrimp this time. Only notices because I saw something black coming out of the shrimp. There's also a hair on our sushi plate. The servers seemed scared to ask the chef to make our sushi. He seemed upset and the sushi is lose not gonna lie. I'll be waiting a while...

I walked in and ordered takeout. The girl at the register was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave me an estimated wait time and she was fairly accurate with it. The food was exactly what I ordered, delicious, presented nicely in its special to-go containers and the hostess made sure I had all the sauses and chopsticks that I needed.

When you walk into the restaurant there are three long rows of seating. The row of seating on the far left seems to be staff work area and it's a little disconcerting to the eye. It's regular restaurant tables but they weren't set up for dining and it just gave the room an unbalanced look.

Today, we came to Red Bowl around 2pm to find they have new hours of operation. The hours posted for Saturdays are from 4pm-9pm. We came back at 8:30 only to be told they stop taking tables at 8:30, but we could make a to-go order. We informed them that of they are open until 9, they should seat people until 9, and that we had already been there once today to try to eat here. The young man/teenager that has worked there a couple of months said, "Too bad. We close at 9 and stop taking tables at 8:30." The cashier was very friendly and apologetic, but this young man needs to find another industry to work in if he cannot learn/follow customer...
