Okay, the best things about pizza is the crust and quality ingredients. This place has both. This is my first visit at this location but I've tried their other locations. I've never left disappointed and I'm so glad they open this location which is much closer to home. I can foresee many stops at this place before heading home. Today's visit was Friday lunch with my husband. We walked in there at 12:15 and the place wasn't too busy but quite a few take outs and a Bite Squad driver waiting for his deliveries. Employees were friendly and helpful. What did I have today? 14" pizza with two toppings - Italian sausage and mushrooms. I had coupon from Minute Magazine so I got the pizza with two drinks for $15. They also run lunch specials with no coupons needed. Pretty good deal. I need to come back to try other toppings combinations. Since it was lunch, I did not try any of the wide selection of beer they offer here. Maybe for dinner one day. They offer many craft beers and wine. Definitely a fun place to go hang out with friends or family.

We decided to finally try Gaines Street Pies. With the creative topping combinations, we were excited to try a specialty pizza. Using the website to order was a little confusing due to the different descriptions of the items. The pizza we ordered was apparently a pizza with no type of sauce on it, but I did not see that in the description. We did not enjoy the pizza because of that issue (just a personal preference). Maybe another pizza will be better? I will say that when we asked for a replacement topping on a specialty pizza it was done correctly without extra charge. We ordered the speciality pizza that had sausage, cream cheese, and candied jalapeños (switched out the sausage). The delivery was quick. The pizza options were unique and creative. For the size of the pizza, it was a little pricey. The cream cheese on the pizza was different and delicious! Overall, we may not order again because the item description did not explain everything. For the price, we do not want another surprise.

Best pizza spot in Tallahassee hands down. The pizza is fresh, handmade, and packed with flavor. The Saucy Minx pizza is my go-to perfectly balanced, saucy in the best way, and loaded with quality toppings. The bread knots are another must-order, super soft with just the right amount of garlic and seasoning. The service here is always on point. The staff is friendly, laid-back, and makes you feel welcome whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. The atmosphere has that cool, casual vibe that fits perfectly with the Gaines Street energy fun, a little funky, and full of personality. If you’re looking for the best pizza experience in Tallahassee, this is the spot.

This restaurant lost us as loyal customers today. I cannot eat gluten or dairy but I love pizza. We have been ordering from here a couple times a month as it’s the best gf/dairy free I’ve found in town. Every once in a while they mess up and give me mozzarella instead of vegan cheese. This happened a couple weeks ago and at the time it was handled beautifully. They cooked the pizza over again and sent their driver to deliver the remake free of charge. I was super grateful that they had been so accommodating and they explained there was a new cook that had messed up. Fast forward to today, we ordered a gf/df pizza for me and was told on the phone it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. My boyfriend shows up about 25 minutes later and when going to the register to pay and pickup the pizza he was told by the young lady working there that he hadn’t paid for any of the pizzas from our previous order and that the pizza that was incorrect last time was actually correct and we we’re essentially lying. He was made to pay for the previous order and the current order, including the pizza they had supposedly given us to make up for the one that was made incorrectly. Also, they hadn’t even made the current order and had him sit there waiting for 25 minutes AFTER the pizza should have been ready. I’ll be finding a new pizza restaurant, being treated awfully for the restaurant’s mistakes is not something I’m willing...

went here with my coworker. was excited to see all the different pizza topping options. we asked if we could get vegan pizza by the slice and when they said 'no' we requested a foxy cleopatra, hummus based, pizza with no feta cheese.

we were really hungry and watched people come in and out of the store with online orders. we were literally the only people there around 12PM for lunch and we waited about 35 min for our pizza to come out. to my disappointment there was cheese on the pizza!! if you look at the menu for this particular pizza it doesnt say anything about another type of cheese on the pie besides feta and it is also listed as a vegetarian pie. even their other regular pies list mozzarella cheese or whatever cheese topping there is on the pie. so i believe it was perfectly reasonable to assume that asking for the pie without cheese would return a pie WITHOUT cheese.

i told the waitress that i was incredibly disappointed to pay over 20 dollars for a pie we couldnt really even eat. and she said all our vegetarian pies have cheese on them. well the menu only listed feta cheese! how else would i be able to know this? there was no real apology or any effort to fix our order. very disappointed and was looking forward to trying their hummus based pizza for weeks. will not be coming back here. the wait alone for the pizza would make me prefer to...

I used to really like this place...but unfriendly customer service killed it for me.

I went to pick up a pizza last night. The guy at the front counter was talking with a displeased customer over the phone (from what I could gather, the customer had been waiting a very long time for a pizza delivery). I watched the front counter guy huff and puff and roll his eyes while speaking to the customer. Meanwhile, three customers (including myself) were right in front of him watching the display. After hanging up, he slammed the phone down, looked at me, and grunted "how can I help you." I told him I was there for pickup and gave him my name. I paid for my food and even threw in a generous tip (big mistake). The employee then shoved the pizza over to me on the counter and sourly dismissed me for the next customer waiting for pick-up. No thank you, no have a good night, nothing. That definitely made me feel like garbage.

To make matters worse, I paid over 8 bucks for "caprese", which consisted of two tomato slices, browning basil, and three mozzarella slices. The pizza was decent, though.

This experience was a ripoff all around. I don't think...
