The food was decent, but the service was subpar. I was with a party of 5 others and I arrived late. 20-30 mins prior to my arrival my friend ordered for me. By the time I arrived only half the table had been served drinks. The half that received drinks then received their food. After asking several times the other half received their drinks. I arrived late I didn’t expect my drink to come asap. I placed an additional order of shrimp. After 20-30 mins and asking multiple times the other half of the table received their food. I never received my food that was originally placed with the others. Another 20 mins before my food arrived. I ordered tenders and rice via my friend prior to my arrival. The tenders were fresh and the rice was barely warm. I was told my shrimp would be coming soon. 20 more minutes a passed and my friend had to remind someone that I still haven’t received my shrimp. By the time the shrimp arrived everyone was ready to go. I feel bad that the staff looked upset and tired, but at the same time I felt so over looked and forgotten even though our table was right next to the kitchen I don’t recall any apologies other than one from the original server. We got our checks and asked for a discount 10% was offered, but a 15% gratuity was also placed. After speaking with someone else 25% was offered on top of the 15% gratuity, but my payment had already been taken. After I expressed that I had no desire to return the only thing offered was more food to take home. I declined as the shrimp that came during check out was already boxed. No one wanted to issue a refund because it was too much work. I already paid for it so I took my L.

Owner definitely likes to push around her weight I was on a date waiting patiently for a waiter to come to the table and a waiter finally came to the table after 15 minutes of waiting which I get because it was pretty busy that day.. I was ready to place my Order and I’m the middle of me placing my order the lady sitting behind me rudely interrupted and told the lady taking my order not to take my order because someone was already waiting my table.. myself and the worker looked confused as to What was going on… the waiter told her we’ve been waiting for a while and she was just going to take our order and the lady behind me got upset and aggressively told the waiter to go find our other waiter.. the waiter went to look for the other waiter as I looked very confused I just simply wanted a drink and to enjoy myself not walk into a episode of Love and hip hop.. I asked the lady behind me if the lady behind me if the waiter was talking to us or her because I was genuinely confused on what was going on… And she rudely replied that she was owns the place and someone was already waiting our table… if that was the case why not talk to them about that in the back instead of causing drama in the front.. her energy gave “I will fight or snap on you rite now” it was disgusting another guy yelled across the room to her “you gone make these ppl hate you” in a joking way like it was funny… I honestly felt bullying vibes and I instantly left and will not be returning.. that was the most hostile situation I’ve ever been in at a restaurant...

So upon me calling the hostess Myra Answer And said hello can you hold for ten minutes lol so I’m like she probably meant two minutes I stayed on hold for 16 minutes. So somebody I knew worked there called a co worker asked them to put my order in . Upon arriving I’m guessing the owners wife was there when the employer told her who he was with she instantly came from around the bar very Hostile I told them this isn’t the shrimp I wanted she then goes to say it isn’t on us if you ordered wrong so by now I’m catching a attitude because her customer service was horrible. She had a attitude from the moment the employee told her who I was to him . I then say well can I get the shrimp I wanted she says with a attitude yeah if you buy it so now I’m livid so my friend ask so what’s the price difference she says it’s the same price Soo what was the problem she started talking about food waste . Like who gonna eat this shrimp ok that’s not my problem at this point . 12 shrimp was paid for can I just get the shrimp I want . She then keeps talking so I keep talking back . Very unprofessional in front of customers and your staff . She goes to tell my friend don’t bring her back in here . Supporting black business like these never fails just ghetto and ratchet to be a owner . Definitely will be letting everyone I know And my staff to not support this business. Lack of professionalism!
