Being that we were in town for a wedding we wanted to try a few restaurants. This location was on the list. We were glad we made the choice of dining here. We were greeted by a woman whom we ended up realized she was the owner. She never said she was the owner she just explained and went into detail about the restaurant which was great to here. She told us about the events for that day and other events that are held there. She showed us the front lounge area where a comedy show was happening later that night. Then showed us the outside patio which holds a great number of people. Then took us to the area down below where we dined at. The hostess and the training hostess were phenomenal. We don't eat pork, and we were not expecting them to have chicken apple sausages which is our favorite. My son loves them and that already their kind of won us over. Within our party someone had the catfish, shrimp and grits, chicken tenders, fried chicken, pancakes, and peach tea. Everything was excellent! There was not a disappointing dish. We were satisfied with everything and will be back to try the seafood and the...

I had guests in town for the weekend and I was overjoyed to be able to have them enjoy a great meal at a local restaurant (and not a chain)! I was with a group of picky eaters, including kids and everyone enjoyed their meal. The steak was great! The pancakes were my favorite. Amongst my party of 7, we tried quite a few items on the menu. 10/10 on everything. One less than perfect critique was that my friend commented that her chicken sausage was a bit salty. Also, Alexis' service was impeccable. She was attentive and knowledgeable.

We have guests in town again this weekend and we are headed back to Midtown and 3rd. Last thing, I love that I called and was able to make a reservation. AND, the table was ready when we arrived. It's the little things for ME! You should give this...

This was my first time eating here, and I loved it! The music was great, the customer service was wonderful, and the owner even gave us a tour of the establishment. Our waitress was Alexis, and she was awesome! She was very attentive and friendly, and she knew that menu like she made it herself. Tonight was $1 steamed crab night, so we took advantage of that. The crabs were nice sized and meaty. The crab meat was sweet, and the garlic butter sauce was to die for. My friend had a side tray of eggs, corn, sausage, and potatoes. It looked so delicious! Prior to leaving, Alexis informed is of the fun brunch they have on Sundays. She told us about the food items that will be on the menu and the drink specials. From this experience, I will definitely return to have great food and...

Coming from out of town and Midtown & 3rd was recommended by our hotel concierge. It offers a comfortable dining environment. The music vibe was on point 👌🏾. The indoor area downstairs features ambient lighting with casual seating. Our meals were delicious and flavorful😋. I had the well known shrimp & grits w/a catfish nugget 👍🏾. Whereas my husband had the fried catfish (2 generous portions) with the seafood rice and fried okra. He says they were good. Our server, Melanie was friendly and helpful considering it was our first visit. But, it definitely won’t be our last because we are intentional about supporting black businesses in the areas we travel to ✊🏾.

I looked this restaurant up on Google. I'm always looking for places to eat when I'm traveling. Being with a private airline I'm always looking for good food for my clients. The shrimp and grits did not disappoint. I ordered the larger piece of catfish. I don't think I would get the shrimp and grits with bacon. I ordered the She crab soup to go. Stay tuned for an update. The waitress was excellent. She was very honest. I felt that she needed help with the guests (mgmt issue, no fault of her own) However, she handled everything with grace and professionalism. I would definitely come back and recommend.
