Went on a recommendation from a friend. We were greeted by the hostess at the door with their specials listed at the front desk. The waitress Nikki (?) and Renee were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and great outgoing personalities! I ordered the Drunken Shrimp, a bowl of the French Onion Soup, Field of Fruit with Blackened Salmon, and my friend ordered the Lunch Asian Chicken Salad. The Drunken Shrimp's sauce was creamy and the right texture. We both wished it had more Sriracha in the flavor side of it because it lacked that warm spicy kick. The French Onion Soup was excellent and I could have had another bowl easily! The Field of Fruit With Blackened Salmon was mixed with great components that blended well together! Again, the only challenge was the salmon lacked that spiciness of the Blackened flavor. Otherwise it was cooked to perfection! My friend loved his Lunch Asian Chicken Salad. It is his "go to" when he eats at 220. A great dining experience and excellent staff! Definitely worth a try if you are near...

Read moreI have been dining here for over 20 years, and can honestly say, I've never had any complaints.....until today. Went in to meet a friend for a late lunch (after 1 pm). The place wasn't busy, the lunch crowd was mostly gone. I asked for my usual, which I always get because it's my favorite - Fish and chips. Love it. Except I ask that the chips get swapped for onion rings. NEVER been an issue. Til today. For whatever reason. So I had to sit and watch my friend eat while I had a glass of tea because the cook didn't feel like making my onion rings today, and our server seemed to have an attitude about it because I told her I've been getting onion rings every time for many years and I asked her to just check with the chef. So, 220 East has lost a long-time customer today. Very unfortunate for me, this is the ONE place in town that I...
