Asados Al Carbon — Restaurant in Tampa

Me and my boyfriend ordered from this place today at 2:00 pm for delivery. The delivery guys car broke down and said he'll give us a discount but only if we went to pick up at the restaurant and they had to make our food again. We went to pick up around 3:41 about to be 4 and the food still wasn't ready . Mind you , it was only TACOS that were ordered and QUESADILLAS !! that alone takes up about 15 or 20 minutes . It's not like you're making tamales or menudo , then I would understand. So we still had to wait when we got their , even with the "discount " it was around $30 and the tacos didn't come with no salsa . Who likes dry tacos ??? Now let me tell you about the horchata. It tasted like nothing but SUGAR ! I've worked at Mexican restaurants before and have learned how to make homemade horchata from scratch. This tasted as if they put 8 cups of vanilla and condesated milk in my small cup . It was $3 for a small cup full of sugar . They're usually$3 for a LARGE CUP OF REAL HORCHATA. I'll stick to my people's food . Never again will I eat...

I was told I should go do a review for this place, so for Mother's Day, I did. The fresh cooked BBQ is amazing. The only thing that I see could use improvement is a fusion with Latin / American. If you're dining in and enjoy real BBQ thick sauce, bring your own. When I think of BBQ, I think sauce & and potato salad are like peas and carrots or spaghetti and Meat Balls, they are just a thing that go together. They could rill in more Americans by adding this to their menu and getting more business by being added to Uber eats with Potato Salad and a real American BBQ sauce. If I could give a negative -10... I would ... we went today on new years.... place only had 2 tables and myself but the service was still extremely slow for pork chops at that.to wait 50 min for pork chop is a joke.. the cook is on the phone while cooking which can clearly be seen from my table... waitresses all have long hair no nets... Some lady walk out the kitchen after dealing with food on the phone went outside and return to the kitchen to give the cook the phone... neither one washed there hands ever..then a man out of no where with white hair went to the kitchen to start cooking again no hands washed.. the worst... el peor no...
