I always go to get some typical roots such ocumo, ñame, batata, etc to this location. I have never complained before but this time I have to tell what's going on. Today October 18, was a really hot day, it was 90+ outside and it wasn't so different inside the supermarket. I don't know what decisions the management is taking but the cashiers were sweating and I don't think anyone can work happy with all the smells, bagging (packing), lots of people sweating off too (I was sweating like crazy!!) . Maybe that's not my business. however I didn't enjoy shopping today because of the heat which comes around in a bad way affecting the food as well. The yuca was nasty. It had dozens of mosquitos around due to the heat. I'm not an expert on fresh food or anything but I didn't get the yuca because of the non sanitarian mosquitos around. I'm sorry for this harsh opinion but I hope you can improve this so we can enjoy shopping...
Read moreIf you're shopping for produce or meat, this is the place to shop! I buy all of my produce and meat here and go to publix for the rest. This place has the best prices. I also buy all of my hispanic food here, rice, beans, olive oil, seasonings. Anything American is usually a little more expensive because they don't sell a lot of it. About once a month I find t-bones and ny strips for 3.99 a lb. I also LOVE their fresh baked cuban and puerto rican bread an pan sobao, which is half the price of wal-mart and publix. If you take your time and walk through, you'll find some pretty awesome deals. The place isn't new and pretty like publix, but they're a small chain, and that's how they keep their prices low so I could care less what it looks like. Lines are way too long sometimes, you know hispanic ladies like to sit and chit chat :/ But the customer service is great, and...

There was another cashier, young very attractive, long dark hair, who wore glasses sometimes. She used to be nice to me and smile, over time she became cold and before she vanished recently, looked at me like she hated me. She recently quit or was fired? I'm glad she is gone, I wondered what changed her? Almost everything they sell is way over priced. They also let homeless people practically live in front of their store. Often letting people in cars and trucks sell food, fruits, veggies in their parking lot., which makes no sense. You would think Bravo wants you to buy their products? I don't trust anyone's food sold out of cars. One can get food...
