DO NOT EAT HERE! I have never taken the time to write a bad review before... but I feel the need to warn people. The service was horrible (the waitress didn't smile, wouldn't answer questions, etc). We ordered ceviche and Steak Burritos. The ceviche was not traditional "white meat fish"... it was sardines or greenbacks for all I know! You could see the entire filet of the small "fishy" tasting fish. It was funky. Then we got the burritos... the first three bites weren't so bad.. then I bit into the meat. It was RANCID! It had the most foul taste- I literally threw it up in my napkin. I was hoping it was just that one bite so I took another... same thing. I couldn't even swallow it. I have NEVER EVER had a gag reflex to ANYTHING I have ever bit into. I love all foods... this was nauseating. I clearly couldn't finish the meal and was ready to go. Not to mention my water wasn't filled once after the initial conversation. It took us 20 minutes to get her attention for our check when there was only three tables including ours, sat in the whole restaurant. There's a place a few blocks south that actually has fresh meat and fish for the same prices. I will never eat here again. I don't know if I can even have a steak...

I typically don’t write reviews unless I’m very impressed or extremely disappointed....I am definitely disappointed. I’m very open when trying new places and gave this place a chance. First thing was walking in and feeling very uncomfortable. I’m Puerto Rican and my boyfriend is white and everyone stared at us and continued to stare during our time and made it very awkward for him. No one came up to us to get seated and the waitress that sat us didn’t communicate anything or say anything to us really and we basically had to figure out quickly what we wanted. No guacamole even though it was on their menu and website and the waitress couldn’t even understand what fajitas were. Chips were over cooked and the salsa was bland and too spicy. I got the chicken burrito and it was overwhelming with sour cream and it was lukewarm and the meat was cold. We got water and never was checked on for a refill. You know it’s bad when you see a customer eating the ice and you don’t do anything. Tracked her down from talking to everyone else in the restaurant for the check, paid and left just to go to Taco Bell and at least get better food and service than this place. Never...

Me and my friend were driving around looking for a restaurant to get some food after visiting the zoo of Tampa. Since, me and my partner did not speak Spanish, our waitress, unfortunately, was not that helpful. But she definitely understood the common request for normal dining. We ended up speaking with the owner who was our main point of contact since he spoke English. He was truly so HELPFUL and ACCOMMODATING regarding my vegetarian diet. He fully understood and calm, my nerves, ensuring that my dish was fully vegetarian. My partner was not vegetarian so, she didn't care. But all in all, the food and service is extremely good and would recommend this place after a fun activity or sporting event just like what we did. Read reviews before coming here and Apparently they are paying people to write positive reviews. First bad sign.. almost 5:30pm and No one there. Interior seemed clean but chipped paint dust and dated worn interior made it feel unclean. Waitress didnt speak english so we used our choppy Spanish and got what we ordered. Chimichangas. Cheese on top obviously microwaved on top, was surprised to see tomato and lettuce had been deep fried inside the changa. There was hardly any chicken inside and the whole thing had zero flavor, a little salt and cilantro would have done a lot. We ate maybe 3 bites and could not finish. Whole experience very unappetizing. Paid over $30. Won’t be back.

The Caldo de Rez (Beef stew)was good and tasty, but the rice was served cold and not tasty at all. The "salsa" was a mix between probably tapatío and something else, would recommend some fresh salsa to accompany the stew. Had the works with it, onions, lime and cilantro, which helped. The tortillas seemed home made but also a little cold. The place has potential. The menu had a QR code which helped a lot. Over all the place is good for a quick bite and prices are reasonable.
