A small hidden gem in Tampa! The restaurant itself is a great place to sit down & enjoy some good Peruvian food, Upon arriving we got hit with the aroma of deliciousness,The portions are pretty big and you can appreciate all the colors of the fresh vegetables that they use. It was our first time having dinner there and we were greeted and sat right away, we waited a little bit so that we could check out the menu and see what they offer. We started off with papa a la Huancaina which was tasty the consistency of the cream sauce was great perhaps a little more salt, we followed it by with some Inca Kola 😍. For our main dish I had Lomo Saltado which I asked to be well done & my mother had the Jalea. Once we got our main dishes we were surprised by the amount of food they served which for the price we paid was excellent & worth it. My rice tasted great, the Lomo was good too, full of flavor but just a tad bit sweet for my taste only sad part was I asked for some Aji verde thinking it would of been spicy but was brought something else that was not that good. The Veggies used were fresh & crunchy which I personally love!❤️ My moms Jalea was amazing! She enjoyed every bite of it perhaps they should add more Shrimp since she only found 4 of them 🥲🥲 Our overall experience was great no doubt but if I were to fix one or two things would be the annoying gnats & that they should offer some sort of chips or some canchita while the guests wait on their food! Will we comeback? YES!!! I give this place...

Today was a special day as it’s my mother’s birthday and she especially asked me to bring her here. She came here once before and loved it. She then met the owner Carolina whom personally asked to “please come again”. We arrived tonight for dinner at 6:30pm and a gentleman stood right at the door (blocking the way) telling us that doors closed at 7 and would be best if we found somewhere else to go. My mother asked for the owner and he stated that she was traveling and he is also the owner. He then repeated “we are already cleaning and ready to close”. Mind you, the restaurant closes at 8 per their website and the big shiny sign that lighted up OPEN. We are very disappointed and will definitely not return. ............Quize traer a mi mamá en su cumpleaños a cenar y ella escogió este restaurante por qué ya había venido una vez y tuvo muy buena experiencia en la que también conocío a la dueña Carolina quien Muy amable y agradecida pedía que regresara otra vez. Pues aquí estamos listos para celebrar llegamos a las 6:30 y un hombre se para en la puerta diciendo que cierran en 30 minutos y que es mejor idea que buscáramos otro lugar para cenar. Cuando mi madre pregunta por la dueña, el dijo que ella andaba de viaje y que el también era el dueño cuando repite que ya estaban limpiando y a punto de cerrar. En la red cibernética dice que cierran a las 8 y también tenían bien iluminado el letrero de abierto. Al fin, nos fuimos decepcionados y jamas...

My husband and I were spending our anniversary at the beach. We decided to find a Peruvian restaurant somewhere between St Pete and our house (Kissimmee). After going through all the choices and looking through all the reviews of different places, we settled on this eatery. I ordered Ceviche de Pescado, my husband ordered the Jalea. We believe ourselves to be connoisseurs of both these dishes. We seem picky, but we know good ceviche and Jalea. Both these dishes were EXCELLENT! Simply excellent! Ceviche: Large serving, perfect lime and seasoning. The sweet potato was, again, perfect. Texture and temperature. Truly the best (after my husband's Ecuadorian ceviche ☺) Jalea: Large serving. Flavor was PERFECT! Cooked to perfection! Juicy and tender. Crispy, not oily at all. Could not taste the oil (which is obviously good). So impressed with the care of this dish. We ended up ordering Flan and Helado de Lucuma after our feast. I loved the desserts too! Devine! The service was superb! Freddy graciously served us while his wife, Carolina, cooked and prepared the food. Fresh seafood. Excellent balance in flavors. Cute and intimate dining. Relaxed and comfortable. I felt like I was at my Mamita's house. Yes, that much love and care!
