0 stars if I could. Walked in and I dont remember his name but a bald gentleman behind the counter seemed to be eyeballing our group. When we walked up to ask for a drink he immediately replied with "Sorry we cant serve your type in here." Now this came off disrespectful and borderline racist (we are black). When I asked for him to elaborate he then says "Well you guys are already drunk." Mind you one of my pals doesnt even drink and was only tagging along for a friends birthday. Also the fact that this place is a stop on the Brew Bus is ridiculous, it also struck me odd the fact that others clearly more intoxicated on that same Brew Bus were served drinks with no problem. Very conveniently though the 4 black guys were refused drinks. When I began to ask more questions he just continued to say we were drunk with absolutely no rebuttal as to what we did to look so "drunk". I would love the chance to talk to this garbage establishments owner, though I highly doubt he is any different. If he would respond with a way to contact him, I'd love to speak about this experience in person. I'll never come back, none of us will. I'll advise everyone I know...

Read moreLowry Parcade is one of Tampa Bay's few video game bars on offer. While enjoyable, it could be so much more.
Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff who love games and enjoy working there. Large beer selection, with 15+ drafts and a nice selection of cans and bottles. Skeet ball.
Cons: The space is on the small side which translates to a smaller number of games than what a busy night demands. Drinks are higher than other places nearby. Some ridiculously so. They charge for quarters? Seriously? That's enough to make me skip future visits. The joint wasn't as clean as it could be. Not dirty by any means but it didn't seem like many of the tables had seen a good wipe down in a while and the floor could use a sweeping.
All in all, the Parcade could be so much better with a few tweaks. Adjust the prices a bit. This is Seminole Heights and not Chicago. And don't charge to make change. You loose customers. They may not share why. They just...
