Response to owner's disgusting response. Besides that your response permeates with prejudice, reason enough for any university progressive to avoid your establishment--"get rid of all the grey hairs you got" you said--I've perused some of your raving reviews in light of your despicable response so can't help but wonder if they were written by the same raving lunatic.
Again, no one should have to ask for a knife to cut a salad that was nothing but chunks of mostly iceberg lettuce. Certainly no one at a table should be given LARGE SHEETS OF UNFOLDED NAPKIN PAPER when simply having requested some napkins.
Your service sucks, Your food is gross. Your restaurant is boring. Your manners are pathetic. Your response is stupid. And any good review of your dumpster restaurant is fake.
But you have a nice day too.
Here is owner's response in case the creep tries to delete it
"Response from the owner 3 days ago But from what i know i served you and even asked you and your friend if you were doing ok and you told me yes. So i thought everything was good. If you had a problem you should have open your mouth and say something. Close mouth doesnt get fed. You must have to be a very miserable amd have nothing better to do person to make up a google account only to just complain about your problem a day after you ate here lol. I also remember giving you a knief so dont come on here and lie to get attetion please. I tell all my customers that every restaurant have different cook differnt taste diffetent style different owner so everything you taste at other Thai restaurant will not be the exact same taste. This is not McDonald's you cant always have it your way okay? lol You took a chance to eat here and you said you dont like it then you have a choice next time to not come back to our restaurant. Thank you and have a nice day and stop complaining all your life. it might just help you get rid of all the grey hairs you got. it also might help with your boldness lol"
My original review follows:
Any good review must be bogus or written while stoned with the munchies because this place is gawd awful. There's zero atmosphere (doesn't even rank hole in the wall), the service is terrible (when I asked for napkins they brought sheets of unfolded paper--who's ever even heard of that before). I'd call their food garbage but what did garbage ever do to me. My friend said the soup was okay. also the salad was almost okay though the peanut dressing wasn't so good and they served it as chunks of veggies without a knife to make it possible to eat.
We took only a few bites of our overpriced entrees, paid, left and drove all the way down to Yummy House in Tampa for a real meal.
Only rated this dump one star but should be rated black hole where nothing good ever escapes...
Read moreFor Friday night we were looking for Thai place to have dinner and decided to have dinner at Palm Thai since it was just around 10 minutes from our place. Accessibility Palm Thai has a lot of parking places since it is located in the area where there are around 3-4 restaurants. One can park in the parking place and can directly go to Palm Thai Restaurant. Ambience When we entered the restaurant we saw that they have small seating area. They were decorated with Thai Idols on the walls. The restaurant was decorated very well showing the beauty of Thailand. Service Our server Ben was an amazing guy who was also the owner and he treated us well as well as answered all the questions regarding food and respected all our demands. Foods By exploring the menu we started first with appetizers and soup which included vegetarian spring roll, crab rangoon and tom kha soup. For dinner we ordered Drunken Noodles and Massama Curry. The server soon bought our disposable plates and soon for the food. Soon we got our appetizers and soup. The spring roll as well as crab rangoon were delicious. We loved both of them. It was a delicious start to our dinner. The soup was delicious too. It was amazing food freshly made with vegetables. Then soon we got our food which was drunken noodles and massaman curry. The noodles as well as curry was hot and deliciously made. Loved the dinner too along with the appetizers. The food as well as appetizers were hot and freshly made with perfect vegetables. Price The prices were perfect and it was according to the food we ordered. We didn't think it was pricey. It was really worth it. One of the best Thai restaurants in the area with hot and...
Read moreWe moved to Tampa about 2 weeks ago, and started searching for good restaurants near us. My husband and I love going to restaurants it's like our thing to find small restaurants that are amazing just like Palm Thai. I wouldn't let it's size fool you! They definitely pack a punch. So far, we have been there two times and I can't wait to try something new from them. My husband got the spicy basil fried rice, and can I just say it gave a new meaning to fried rice. I had the Pad Ped Duck, it was an explosion of amazing flavors. You know when you get a stir-frie it sometimes comes with veggies and they are soggy with the sauce it was cooked in? Well Palm Thai definitely delivers that crunch. My greene beans were perfectly cooked, and can I say the fried basil on top just gives it a whole modern experience. Also I'm very picky with my rice and I'm very familiar with different kinds of rice. When I read jasmine rice I was expecting some cheap restaurant quality rice. NO, again they give you quality. They served me REAL jasmine rice cooked to perfection not to soft not to hard so warm it was perfect with my fried duck. Talking about the duck my goodness it was a super soft dark meat. I have had duck in the past that's chewy and just nasty, but their chef definitely knows what he's doing. Again, I would definitely give Palm Thai a chance to impress you. They are small but they know what they are doing. They are quick to get your order perfect if your in a hurry or on the clock for work and are just out...
