This location is slacking. Continues on a downward slide.
So my problem with Panera is that this time I got a full size frontega sandwich and it's cut in half, of course the first side was okay even though the portions of everything were extremely small, I asked for extra basil and salad greens did not get that. I also asked for no mayo or aioli on the sandwich but I wanted it on the side. I got a microscopic pinch of chopped basil and no greens. The chicken was in exactly three small slices that could not have possibly covered the entire half of a bun no matter how you arranged them but they were in a single pile. The impossibly thin tomatoes were not ripe and there was a bit too much of the wet sauce on the on toasted bread remember I asked for this on the side and what I got was literally a spoonful of the sauce in a tiny plastic cup) it was on the soggy side.
I ate my side of potato chips with a half a sandwich I took my time I wasn't in a hurry by then the other half of the sandwich was almost completely cold but that's okay that's not my complaint about the sandwich. My problem is THAT half had Z E R O Chicken on it and I wish I would have photographed it. It was sad.
Now my other problem is they can't even keep the paper in the men's room. That dispenser has needed maintenance for more than a year and nobody has thought to either reset it, move it, or move the divider wall. As a result, most customers will not use it washing their hands and drying them there there so no one is using the bathroom door with either their foot or elbow because there's nothing there to do it with, so they're touching the door with their wet hands. I imagine...
Read moreAs a former employee I must say I don't recommend Panera as a whole but I would especially steer clear of this store. Panera bread often disregards regulation about cross contamination hazards and other health issues. If you have allergies, or dietary restrictions such as halal or Kosher Please do not eat here or any other Panera Bread. The management and majority of associates do not care and if they put bacon in your salad by accident they'll just mix it toward the bottom and hope you don't notice. If you do, they won't refund your meal or show sympathy at all. As valid and important as the health concerns are it's also important to note the moral reason not to eat here. They refer to themselves as "The Jesuit Location" despite being closer to the Stadium and St.Joe's hospital than Jesuit, the All Boys High school down the road. Weird right? Any questions you may have about this will be answered when you walk in and see the staff of all conventionally attractive teenage girls. They hired over a hundred high school girls when they opened this location (and 5 boys to evade suspicion) and slowly let people go not based on work ethic, dedication, or job performance, but by who would "attract client base." They fired any POC, non thin, unattractive, or lgbt person at the store. It was disgusting to watch and be a part of. From what I've heard nothing has changed. Because Florida is a right to work state Employers do not have to give a reason for termination so it was easy for them to get away with. Please keep this in mind and avoid supporting this...
Read moreNope, not happy. As a vendor for The Tampa Bay Bucs, we drive from Orlando and Panera has always been a great place to stop, eat, and gather the team for a quick team meeting, then go to work. However, today's LACK of customer service takes the cake. Our team arrived at 6AM today before we had to disburse for setup. Panera opens any other day at 6, except for Sunday's at 7. So we had our team meeting in the parking lot, and were ready to grab a quick breakfast before setting up. So 3 of us made our way to the front door, 10 mins before open and waited for staff to unlock the door. We politely/patiently waited, not touching/shaking the door for 7AM. Making eye contact with a few of the workers inside, they knew we were standing there. So at 7AM, looks like the Manager walks to the front door, grabs the A Frame pictured here, slings it in front of the door (NEVER makes eye contact) and leaves. Very upsetting, as they knew we were standing there, you would think someone could open the door and explain short staffing, sick employees, whatever the excuse and be polite about this. What makes this more frustrating, is that we had a High Top Van and truck with trailer, so we couldn't go thru the drive thru even if we wanted. Just very disappointed and really set the expectations for our LARGE vendor team that works ALL Tampa Bay Bucs games for future visits. This will definitely...
