Sassypants Sourdough — Restaurant in Tampa

This is, hands down, the best sourdough bread I have ever had. I have been a customer of Sassypants Sourdough for a couple of years now. Every single special occasion with friends or family, I put in a big order.

Every single thing I have gotten has been incredibly delicious. I am a huge fan of English Muffins and get at least a dozen with every order. They freeze for single use beautifully, as do all the loaf breads.

If you have never had sourdough brownies, your life will be changed for the better.

The Rye breads - insanely good. Way up on the fave list. Right up there with the specialty loaves. You haven't lived until you have had a big bowl of spaghetti with the Roasted Garlic, Rosemary & Olive Oil Sourdough loaf.

I was even fortunate enough to receive a centerpiece loaf for Christmas last year, which was all the rage with the family. My family also regularly makes Eggs in the Basket with the plain sandwich loaves. Chef's kiss.

And, to top it all off, the owner is an incredible human and has a true gift. I will be joining the next 101 class, and cannot wait. Shelby is such an absolute delight to be around.

I would give Sassypants Sourdough 100 stars if I could. I am, and will be, a client as long as they are slinging out loaves.

Amazing artisan sourdough and sourdough baked goods!!!! I managed foodservice for many years, and lived all over the US . I was missing the great sourdough from the PNW/San Francisco, and couldn't find it anywhere until I found Sassypants. There hasn't been one type we haven't liked, but our favorites are the Original, Jalapeno Popper, Raspberry White Chocolate, Rosemary Garlic; any flavor scones, and the English muffins with honey butter!!! Anytime I take some to work, they devour it. I'm lucky if I'm not tearing into it on the way home. My kid will eat the entire loaf/batch if left unsupervised LOL.

I love that we can either order online and pickup or go to their pop-up shop and explore something I haven't tried yet.

They are such a sweet and adorable couple, please support local, especially talented bakers...

Literally writing this reviews as I’m eating the ancient grain sandwich loaf, because it’s so good! I haven’t had a bad product from this incredible small, but mighty bakery! My faves are the rosemary garlic loaf, the cookies, double choc cherry loaf, and the Japanese milk bread...
