Three Squares Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

So for 2023, SO and I decided to try at least one restaurant a month that we haven’t been to together. This past Sunday, we chose Three Squares. Now I’ve been here a handful of times and he has only ordered breakfast take out once.

We walked in and I was surprised that there were only two other tables of guests. In the past, it has been packed. We were seated and the service we were given was pretty on point.

We enjoyed our food. I’ve had the local sampler before with others, but this time, I ordered it with red rice and ate a little bit of everything so I could take the rest home for leftovers. SO said his meal was great “comfort food.” and I loved my meal. The red rice was yummy. Not too many people make red rice correctly and their version reminded me of the red rice made back in the day that was filled with just enough flavor (and not just achiote coloring).

We had a great dinner date and recommend it if you're looking for island fusion food in a setting with good vibes. Great place for casual dining! Go and enjoy!

I usually don't write bad reviews but people need to be aware and not waste their time.

May 1st. Dinner. Closed for a private event. May 2nd. Dinner. Closed for a private event. May 10th. Called ahead of time to make sure there was no private event. Said there was no private event and that they would be open for dinner. Went around 6:30PM. CLOSED EARLY. May 11th. Went around 1:30PM for a late lunch. We see many empty tables. The hostess looks around at the empty tables and goes "We're not seating at this time. We have reservations." SERIOUSLY? AT 1:30PM?! ALL THE TABLES?! RESERVED?! Not even a private event but all seats are reserved. Doesn't even say we'd have to wait for a table to clear. They just "can't seat us." Ridiculous.

Yeah. Done trying. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the food here, but I guess the universe does not want me to dine here anymore.

PS - You have active social media pages (FB and IG) that you post on regularly. You should post if you're going to close for the day so people don't...

Modern decor, wide menu selection, friendly staff at affordable prices!

Love this place! There were so many great sounding options on their menus - I tried a southern special that I was sure they wouldn’t get right. But they nailed their fried chicken and biscuits & gravy! Buttermilk batter cradled boneless chicken and dense southern-style biscuits with white sausage gravy was magnificent.

The trendy decor is classy and modern, perfect for this excellent restaurant.

The Kalamansi iced tea was good- a little heavy on the sweet and light on the Kalamansi, but it was good. Maybe I could have asked for more Kalamansi? Not sure.

Incredible meal with drink for less than $18. I will be going back soon to try their coconut, banana cake-it looked scrumptious. I highly recommend Three Squares. You will love yourself for...
