So I wanna say I love New York bagel and I get breakfast there almost every morning, itās the one thing I get to do for myself in the morning. I have a small baby and my mom watches him so I can get my bagel and my coffee & enjoy one warm meal out of the day more often than not. Thereās been a few times where itās been so so but most often itās really really good. Today though itās awful, just downright gross. I got my first Sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything asked for extra cheese, got it took a bite, and it was dry with barely any cheese on it. So I go back and ask if they could remake it , they say no problem. I get the food & I pull out to leave take the bagel out of the bag & somehow itās not even warm (usually itās piping hot) . The cheese isnāt even melted , itās burnt and dry as hell. Idk if the girls that are there during the week butter the bagels or what but theyāre usually phenomenal & this one is just trash. I just wasted 8$ plus tip on something Iām not going to eat. I canāt even toast the bagel to warm it up because the tops already burnt . Itās stupid but I honestly wanted to cry . Not sure if thereās new people on the weekend but the girls during the week know how to make them great . I will not be back on the weekend after today . Super disappointed š
Also want to say The young person at the window with the tattoos was very kind and I appreciate them saying they wanted me to enjoy my food because it was bad the first time unfortunately the second too but (They have good customer service skills so I wanted to point that out & hopefully have them...

I would suggest changing the price if necessary. Also sometimes they get what you ordered wrong, in my case the wrong cream cheese but I dont notice until I get to work, which at that point I have to keep it bc I cannot leave to return it, which is a bit frustrating. Especially if you get charged for the stuff you dont get, in some cases is more expensive than what you actually get. To the staff Simply check your inventory periodically when people order, note when something is low, listen in drive thru. Also never just add something to an order yourself just because its out of stock you never know if it affects someone e.g makes them sick, allergic etc. That can do more harm than simply letting them know its out of stock. Itās 1 or 2 plain bagels with cream cheese and a breakfast sandwich yet somehow, someway they manage to screw it up. I donāt have sympathy for the whole they just opened crap, when you are literally staring at a screen thatās telling you what to put on the bagels there should be no mistakes and when you have customers paying $$ for their food to be made a certain way (which in our case itās the most simple+popular way to make a bagel) then you should be double checking to make sure it is done right.
