Haven’t gone to this place in over a year due to bad experiences in the past. Figured I would give them another shot and once again, ended up regretting it. They charged me for an expensive burger I did not ask for, I simply ordered a cheesy cheddar burger which they have sold at all locations for MANY years and because the people taking my order did not understand what that burger was, they opted to charge me for a burger that was 2x the cost. Not the end of the world, I kindly and politely pulled back up to the window, trying to hand that burger back and just get the correct one so we can be on our way. I wasn’t even asking for the difference in money back and I had two employees interrogating me like I was trying to somehow screw them over. Then basically telling me too bad that’s the burger we got and they aren’t fixing it. Before losing my cool I just opted to pull over and let my daughter run in and just purchase the burger separately and we threw the incorrect burger in the trash because it was not worth literally arguing. My teenage daughter comes back to the truck and come to find out those same people were giving her a nasty attitude saying that burger does not exist until they looked a little further into the menu and found they were wrong, it DOES exist. No sorry, no attempt to correct it, just charged for yet another burger and ignorantly sent her on her way. You can easily tell the employees that actually care vs the employees that get a kick out of escalating...
Read moreThere was nothing fast about this fast food… we ordered online to pick up @drive tru and we waited almost 30 minutes to get our food because they were short staffed. Although I understand this, I don’t condone that neither employer had gloves when handling food and were all touching various surfaces while sticking their fingers in the food (cross contamination), not to mention that we got the wrong size drink; I paid for two large drinks and got mediums size drinks which have spilled and nobody bothered cleaning the cups before handing them out to us dripping. Honestly, I did not felt like waiting another 20 minutes to get this fixed since I had to get back to work. Some of the staff may be trying to put their best effort but management seems to be setting them up to fail. This is the first time I have such horrible experience at this location, I’m not sure I’ll be back considering the increase in prices and the longer waits.
Update. I decided to give this place another shot because I got out of work so late and I wasn’t going to have time to cook dinner and just when I’d thought the couldn’t get worse, they did!!! This time I was missing almost an entire meal (except for the drink) tried calling the store 6 times and nobody answered the phone but even though I left two messages I doubt anybody is going to call. So, unless is a simple one or two single item order, save you money and go elsewhere this place isn’t...
Read moreWhen there is a slow line at a drive-thru, like today at this Wendy's, it is hard to tell if it is the fault of the customers or the staff. When we got to the order kiosk, I felt rushed. I felt like the staff person taking orders assumed that there was one person in the car who only wanted one item; I ordered a sandwich and was immediately asked"Is that all?" We were three and one or two of us needed time to look at the menu to make a final decision. It may surprise some people but not everyone has every menu of every drive-thru memorized. We did take what may hace been seen as too much time to order.
*Note to self: when first greeted by at a drive-thru order kiosk, annonce that you will be ordering for X number of people so that the staff person kmows that there may be some pauses.
It took several more minutes to get to the window to pay and receive our order (I played a game of solitaire on my phone.)
When we arrived at the window, I presented my credit card and wad handed our drinks, one of which was wrong. Then we waited at least two minutes for my carf to be returned and our food. I had to asked for the correct drink and my receipt and the explanation of "out of paper" allowed the time for our correct drink to be presented.
So, if it was so.e me and so.e tjem I can oy guess that it was true for otbers. While I previuosly suggested a solution for one problem, I would prefer that suggestions for others...
