Aldo's Pizza 2 — Restaurant in Taylor

I order a plain pizza for take out when they were slow after lunch time. People were nice. 13$ isn’t terrible for no toppings 14”. Waited in the kind of dingy area. They could definitely use some better lighting inside. The display pizza and other options behind the counter in the glass case aren’t labeled as to what it is so I guess they go with the point at what you want The menu had a lot on it that could be a good or bad thing took me a few minutes to look it’s a good variety of options for a restaurant like this maybe a few too many options. No pictures so you’re just gonna have to imagine what your options might look like. The pizza it was ny style no burnt and not soggy crust it was actually cooked well. The crust and bottom could be slightly thicker maybe a cm thicker. The taste of the crust was that of bread and sugar very sweet dough about a 7/10 on the sugar rush there. On top of that that sauce isn’t bad it was slightly water just a little bit with a few bites that were mildly noticeable. The sauce also kind of tastes like sugar, nothing and week old canned diced tomatoes at the same time. They’re small little pieces no crunch from the sauce detected. It had an okay consistency besides the slightly water few bites. The cheese is your standard mozzarella the pizza was glazed with grease so if you don’t like delicious stomach aches I would dab the top of the pizza with w napkin to soak up some of that. The cheese doesn’t stay on the crust well even if you let it cool down. Overall pizza gets a 6/10 I would definitely order it again it’s better than paper Johns, little Caesars but I’ve definitely had better pizza for maybe a dollar or two more. I’ve given this place multiple chances but this was my last time there. Last week the waiter didn’t bring our drinks until we were almost done with our meals. This week the waitress had to come back multiple times to ask what we ordered because she didn’t write it down and when it came to the food, she brought out the wrong meal for 2 of us and when we brought it up she rolled her eyes. She Went back and brought out food again, which again was wrong. She asked what we ordered again, we told her and she rolled her eyes. 2 of us ordered pizza and she came out and dropped it off and went over to a booth and started taking selfies on her phone and laughing. We sat there for 15 minutes without silverware or plates. One of us had to go up to her to mention that and she waited another 10 minutes taking selfies, walked over to the counter grabbed plates and silverware and just dropped it on the table with no care. A fork and knife fell on my lap as well as a plate, another fork and knife bumped the drinks spilling some and another plate hit the pizza. By the time we looked up, she was back in the booth laughing and scrolling social media. The couple next to us had to ask another waiter for their refills and check as the girl neglected them as well. When it came time to pay, she waited at the table seeing how much we were gonna tip her and just scooped it up immediately. my family and I came in to eat and as we were seating ourselves we noticed the seating next to us was empty but there were 4 meals on the table. fast forward 48 minutes later (food still on the table) 3 women of color show up and ask why their food was left on the table. ( they left to get cash right after they placed their order because their ATM was broken, said they would be back soon) one of them women had paid 40$ before the left to hold the table. the older lady demanded a refund. instead, they called the police. the lady who was loud and obnoxious left the building. about 5 min later a police officer shows up and asks the other two leave. she politely explains that she is waiting for a refund. the police then try to detain her and she's crying out "why are you trying to detain me," and they TAZE her right in front of me and my family (my 8yo child was also witnessing the entire event) needless to say, we did not feel safe staying there and eating. we asked for the check and notice they charged me $1.25 for 2 slices of lemon. we kindly as for some customer service for what we just had to endure and they threaten to call the...
