I usually never go outta my way to pause whatever I’m doing to Google search a place solely just to review them but I was just thinking about my recent experience at this BK location a few days ago & decided to do exactly just that happily.
My son and I were having a rough few days and came here to grab a quick bite, a little “mommy and son” day if you will. Naturally my 9 y/o will ALWAYS love BK but this experience amplified that for him. From the other customers politeness with ENTERING the restaurant to the immediate smiles and offer for any assistance within seconds of walking in set the tone ferociously. Our favorite part? The manager (who I believe) is named “Moe”, who despite VISIBLY running laps back & fourth between a hot ass kitchen to the floor to outside, on a 97 DEGREE DAY, came to EVERY single table multiple times to make absolute sure each patron was covered and had everything they needed with a smile and the demeanor he actually cared. Never once was he not smiling, checking on customers to make sure their experience was amazing or helping his staff every chance he got. Besides that, he genuinely made my sons day by a simple act of kindness by offering him a coloring sheet to earn an ice cream cone but in the process a simple compliment on his “art” gave my son a sweet little confidence boost for the day and in turn my son smiled the rest of the day.
I don’t care if all of this strikes you as “bare minimum” or you think none of this is special because “it’s their job” but as someone who’s solely worked in top tier restaurants for the last 10+ years dealing with hot kitchens, long shifts and the general public I can TRULY say not only do fast food workers get paid significantly less to do much more PLUS deal with even crazier crowds than me, they balanced all of that WITH smiles and genuine warm welcoming vibes that were consistently ready to help a customer OR a coworker the entire time I was present. I also don’t think it was “just a good day” either because even prior I’ve NEVER had a bad experience at this location but THIS day specifically, which they obviously had no clue the rough few days mentally my family was having but how their smiles were contagious, their kindness was more needed than they knew and how incredible they treated us from the second we walked in the door to the second the door closed behind us truly set the bar.
I say all this to kindly remind you that as customers, pleaseeee be a little kinder, a little more patient and much more fast to say “Thank you” to the fast food workers who not only bust their butt to smile (despite whatever crap hand they were dealt that day) while they deliver food directly to your stomach but remember they’re also humans who deal with impatient, very demanding and balls to the wall psychotic Karens day in and out. Give them some grace, also a note from my late mother, “Don’t be rude to the people handling your food” lol
Sorry for the world’s longest review but 10/10...
Read moreAn end of an era.Burger King Store #527 used to be a wonderful place to get Burger King or to be employed. After tonight I won't be back.
Drive thru Order: 1 Whopper with No Tomato, add Bacon, add Cheese. Med fries, Med Orange pop. 1 DOUBLE WHOPPER, No Tomato. Large Onion Rings and a Lg Coke. Plus 1 Medium fry. and sauce for the Onion Rings.
My passanger bag checks with their hands to verify 5 Items as we had just received the drinks.
I get home to find what looks to me as quite possibly "THE" Nastiest chicken sandwich ever made inside a Burger King Establishment with a soggy bun (Gross😷) ..... Instead of what I Ordered: a Double Whopper with No Tomato. No sauce for my Onion Rings.
Okay, So I call the store. (I swear it sounds like her) The same girl from the drive thru speaker answers the phone and proceeds to tell me how it is MY FAULT that she rang up the order as a chicken sandwich. And that I could pay the difference (between a chicken sandwich #10 she stated, and a Double Whopper No Tomato #2 That I VERBALLY Articulated and Ordered.."I have a shocked witness to verify this".) if I wanted to drive all the way back over there.
I NEVER Once said Chicken in the drive thru and Specifically asked for No Tomato on My Double Whopper and sauce for my onion rings, was assured it was added to the order..
I received No receipt. I payed by card believing my order was correct and true as it was read back to me briefly before I left the ordering podium and have a copy of the transaction in my statement.
As a former employee this is sad to see. I used to think this was 1 of the last decent ones left.

Read more70 plus husband and wife. Drive through order taken on Sunday by Manager. We simply requested onion on our breakfast sandwich. He was rude and condescending and refused. I told him we go all throughout the week for breakfast and never had a issue. I said they are already sliced. He said yes, but not for breakfast. They are for lunch only. I thought he was kidding. We told him to cancel the order and we would not be coming back. He said he didn't care. I asked who his manager was...and he said he was the manager and no one else would care either. I told him I was reporting it. He said...your going to make a big stink over this? I said...yes I am. He began the big stink, by not just putting two slivers of onion on a sandwich. Young manager...no respect or friendliness. Dry, flat effect and zero managerial skills. He said his name was Nathan and said he's only there on Sunday. That's why I never saw him before. Sad...one day can ruin repeat business for an entire store. The older gentleman that usually takes our orders Mon-Friday is fantastic and friendly. ...
