Very nice place for pastries, ice cream etc. One room has items that are all Michigan made. Located where a local hangout from 59' & 60' was. Owner & staff were very nice, polite & helpfull. UPDATE: Went back when in area. Owner remembered me. Doing a great job, great place, owner, Adam, very helpful & friendly. Bought some baked goods, canole, it was very fresh and excellent. Took some other baked goods home, they, too, were high quality and excellent.

Me and my family tried Mays bakery for the first time so happy we stopped in. We each got a little something different, chocolate cannolis, chocolate covered strawberry’s, strawberry cheesecake and blue moo ice cream. Everything was so good.

Went here with my Nana and the girl there is incredibly nice. I love the one stop shop idea where it's a bakery, plus they sell lots of local small business products. She said soon they'll have coffee as well so I'll be back to try that :)

I’m sorry to write this review, however I’ve tried this place 3- times now. Previously: excellent ice cream, okay Macarons, but not much variety! My granddaughter will eat ant macarons, vanilla being her favorite! Today: 6/10/25 review: Stopped to buy my granddaughter 6- macarons for her graduation dinner tonight, vanilla and 2- chocolate. Husband loves brownies and honestly will eat ANY brownie, but…. 2- bites of this brownie he wanted to throw it out the window, I tried it, same thing!!! I bought a lemon bar ( I love) , one bite I wanted to throw it out, way too doughy, like cookie dough texture, it was HORRIBLE! So, since I live close by, ice cream will be the only thing I purchase from now on, but will probably stick to “ the red barn” on Ecorse, they’re the best ice cream!! I really wanted to like this bakery, but sorry, not for us! Spent 18.00 on 5- macarons, 1- brownie, and...

Updated Review 7/30/24: Cheese pies are phenomenal. Baklava still delicious. Breads are nice and fresh. Lady at the front was super sweet. I like the mix of traditional downriver food and desserts with the amazing middle eastern treats and snacks in one local spot. Thanks for posting your hours :-) Original Review: They have Calders products and DelRay bread! Nice selection of traditional ice cream flavors, and all the other Calders dairy line! Delicious baklava. The fudge from a local vendor is amazing. Large selection of local vendor and Michigan products (honey, olive oil, jams, candles, etc). Owner is super nice and friendly. Really cute store. Please post...

The only reason I didn't give a five on food is because it's made off-site (please correct me if I'm wrong). Nonetheless, by no means is there a bad item sold there. Service is great and friendly, prices are about where they should be for a speciality shop. Their craft section always has locally made items and are of good quality. I can't wait for their outdoor area to open up and I am really looking forward to trying their coffee. Taylor needs more businesses like this, check them out, it's...
