Horrible experience here, We went out to celebrate a family Birthday here first we get to start the evening with some attitude from the waitress, Then in middle of taking our order, while the waitress is still standing at the table, we realized that one of the dishes (BBQ short ribs) comes as an appetizer or as a main dish, so we ask her to make sure that we order the appetizer version of it. she replies that we ordered the main dish version, so we let her know that we already ordered one as a main dish and we would like to cancel it, (Take note that at this point maybe 30 seconds has passed since we started giving in our order) The waitress then says that she cant take it off our order because the chef already started to cook it, OK seriously? how is that possible? we placed the order seconds ago. we told her again that we don't want it. 20 minutes goes by and she shows up with it, and says that the manger says that the chef cooked it in good faith and we have to take it. at this point we are all surprised at Nobo's service. we ordered food over $600 and they are making a big deal and being unprofessional for $40?. Long story short after arguing back and forth the entire meal the manager (Who first sided with the waitress) came over to apologize and said that he asked the chef and the chef told him that the waitress could of canceled it but she chose to lie about it, and its their fault. obviously they took it off the bill. But seriously arguing with a customer and disrupting their evening meal over something like this at a high-end restaurant? you be the judge of that. Well the food was good but guess what, I Will definitely not be...

My experience at nobo was horrific! If I could give it No stars I would. A member of my group made a reservation for 25. The owner tried to cover up his mistakes by saying that they weren’t aware of such a large group - LIES! The owner was rude, unaccommodating and acted like a child actually waiting with his hands folded while he made my children exit the restaurant. If you don’t want children at your restaurant, put up a sign and enforce the policy BEFORE gladly accepting money with open arms! He wants the money but doesn’t want to give the proper service! The children were attended to and remained confined to the back. The restaurant is overpriced! SAve your money and go elsewhere!! Ps when I got there I heard the head waiter telling the staff to give their A game - they should give the same lecture to the owner!

  • we can go back and forth but the fact of the matter is you are a LIAR!!! I don’t know how it was recorded in your “records” but the fact is both YOU and YOUR STAFF knew there was a group of 25. How they wrote it in the reservation book I can’t speak for.. what I CAN speak for is that when they I got there they knew full well there was a reservation for 25 ( and said so even talking about a bridge table) and SO DID YOU! Instead of owning up to your mistake and giving good customer service you are trying to say our party lied!!! Shame of you!...

My experience at Nobo was subpar. After looking at the menu, I was excited about what appeared to be unique and exotic for a kosher establishment. Unfortunately, after tasting the food it became apparent that it was not very tasty and extremely overpriced. The value is just not there. This is another typical example of hyped-up kosher food that amounts to highway robbery. The lamb ribblets were over-sweetened and extremely fatty. Suitable for the palate of an unrefined 4-year old. Given that kosher ramen is not abundant, I was excited initially to order it. Although it wasn't a tradition soup - it was not very good either. Probably the worst and most over-priced ramen I've ever ordered in my life. The portion size was also pathetic for a mid $20 bowl of ramen. My 2 year old niece did enjoy the noodles much more than I did. Next comes the biggest mistake of the night - the dry aged steak. For $79 you would expect to get a delicious, perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth succulent piece of meat. Once again my high expectations were obliterated by the average tasting rib eye in front of me. Very very underwhelming. Overall, overpriced pathetic establishment. Too bad there isn't more competition to end this over-priced abomination. I will not...

Have heard good things about nobo and was not disappointed. Expertly done food for a reasonable price; food was well presented, though it seems we came as they are in the process of changing a few menu items. The Lamb Sausage bowl we were interested in was no longer available so we tried the replacement: The Reuven Dog, which was tasty, though oddly casual for fine dining (and only a single dog for $21 is not quite justified). The Veal Flatbread (not a pizza, though it looks the part) had a cauliflower mash as a bed for the perfectly cooked bacon and veal, and you could certainly taste the wood stove preparation on the bread. Steak-wise, many items are done sous vide, which apparently precludes the medium rare option. The Chateaubriand special was a perfect amount of food for two to share, but could have used more sauce or seasoning for the meat proper (the haricot certs were perfect and complimented it well, and the mashed potatoes were creamy). Waitstaff was excellent in service and atmosphere was ideal for our date night. However, both myself and my date thought the smooth stone floor was incredibly slippery to walk on, though somehow no one seemed to fall over. Overall, would certainly like to return here again and try more items from the menu.

Went to the latest iteration of Nobo tonight. As with old Nobo, it was "meh" to "good-ish". Tuna crudo was not super fresh, under seasoned and had a weird tuna salad along with it?? Mushroom fettuccine was very good. Lamb riblets and green risotto were average. I got a weird drink that tried to be a cross between a dirty martini and a pickleback with daikon and it was bad. "Perfect chicken breast" was not perfect, but good; came with dry but a little tasty stuffing waffles, and a pile of watercress with precisely zero dressing. My wife got the crispy salmon which sounded better than it was (which was not bad). Dessert of the sable Breton with lemon curd served on a fishbowl which was very good and tasty. Given the price tag though, I would not rush to go back; the value-for-money balance is not quite right yet. To be fair though it's only a few weeks in so they may be working things out.

Good place to eat, Chef Josh has an innovative diverse menu as well as some more standard dishes - which is great because you could go with a large group and find something for everyone. The ramen is fantastic The lamb riblets are as good as the always were veal saloumi really awesome In fact most of the appetizers are really good The main dishes are a little less exciting but all pretty solid all sous vous For some reason Every time I'm there dessert Takes forever to come out not sure why ... Don't order a mojito- it was awful not drinkable - maybe the bartender drank too much.
