My mother and I came in here on a Monday around 4 pm. Completely empty and no music or radio was on either, which made it more awkward. Server lady was nice, but strange to ask another employee to help bring out the food, which wasn't a lot considering there was more plates than food on them! She could have stacked it, seeing that there was a TON of empty space on the plates... So little food... They must have changed the food portions to barely an appetizer in size, because we both ordered the same 2x2x2 plate. When we ordered to have all sausages and no bacon, they only gave us the 2 sausages instead of doubling on them to cover for the 2 bacon strips that SHOULD have been with it. You know? So you're already not getting the amount of meat it comes with the order. The pancakes are smaller too! Barely the size of my hand, and only 2 at a time. Hash browns, which was an extra side order, as even smaller than the pancakes!! Even their coffee mugs are childishly small.... (Maybe 8 swallows) It looks like it was an espresso cup, to be honest... All of this was $35. I had more energy going into the place than coming out of it. We had some local shopping in mind afterwards, but can only give out this warning of small food portions for regular sized prices... I am dissatisfied and disappointed to what has become of IHOP. Denny's is now my go-to breakfast/lunch...
Read moreMy friends and I went for some breakfast, and the food was ok. The service was amazing and the waitress’s were fantastic.
The problem are the cooks. We could hear them talking aggressively and insulting the waitresses, slapping the counter with their spatulas, and denying food for customers (apparently the waitresses needed food remade and the cooks refused, laughing and insulting them). I don’t speak Spanish, but my friends who were there do, and what those cooks were saying to the waitresses was absolutely disgusting, and completely inappropriate for a work place. One of the cooks was using racial epithets…really? When I go out to eat, the last thing I want to see are the people who are making my food acting like that. Also, they (I’m assuming the cooks) keep a dirty bucket sitting where the waitress has to retrieve food, just nasty. If that’s not bad enough the cooks bang the bucket up and down and the noise is maddening. The entire experience was uncomfortable, and we won’t be back. Whoever is running that place should educate the cooks on hostile work environment, and customer service I can imagine the waitresses don’t appreciate being insulted, and the customers (us) find it vulgar and disgusting. With the economy so bad one would think businesses would be on their toes, doing the best for paying customers. Apparently...
Read moreI came to this IHOP location with my husband and two kids hoping to have breakfast. Upon arriving, we were sat down immediately. I noticed our waitress had took another party’s order first who had came after us. I didn’t think much of it and thought no biggie. Our waitress noticed my 1 1/2 year old was fussy due to being hungry and she offered to bring his food out first (one scrambled egg and a bowl of fruit). I thanked her and appreciated her for being understanding. However, after 30 minutes had passed I figured she had forgotten because she kept coming back and checking on the other tables (at this point we still hadn’t gotten our food and tables were clearing). I had noticed two tables who arrived after us were being served their order. Then she offered again to bring my sons bowl of fruit out and so she did but without his scrambled egg. At this point my other toddler (2) is starving and getting antsy. My husband and I were getting frustrated as to why tables were being served before us and tables were clearing, it was getting less and less busy. We didn’t understand what was going on and what was taking so long. We were all starving, so finally we decided to leave the restaurant without eating. We waited an hour total to be served our breakfast...
