This little sandwich shop rocks. It's right off the 60 on Alma School across from Fiesta Mall. Tonight my sandwich does delicious last time I went about 5 months ago I was not impressed and I was shocked at the high prices now I'm used to paying $10 a sandwich from being in so many airport so it wasn't a shock anymore. I got the almost vegetarian sandwich or something like that they sell over a hundred sandwiches so you can pretty much get something you like. I don't eat red meat so I chose a vegetarian mushroom artichoke heart tomato lettuce pesto and extra avocado my sandwich was 9 99 and the avocado was $2 more so I paid $12 plus tax for sandwich which is really. outrageous. I got there around 6:30 p.m. and it really wasn't crowded there was only three people in there I could see why what the high prices they've got to reduce their prices but who am I to tell them anything. The pesto was so great the sandwich was so juicy even my four year old grandson scarfed down the whole half. And believe me he doesn't like a lot of stuff but this sandwich he loved and so did I I mean I wanted another half but then I didn't want to pay another $12 tell you the truth. Nemo and Gabby or fun employees and very very sweet they really appreciated the compliment cuz I don't know if they get too many of those. The avocado was delicious but I think it should be a part of the veggie sandwiches and that will reduce some of the cost. They had onion rings french fries that they say are not really fried as extra add-ons. You can choose tomato lettuce pickles onions jalapenos and as extra free add-ons if you mention it. A little bag of chips was a dollar 69 so I didn't get that either. I would like to try the fake bacon sandwich I think that would be delicious to I might just make another trip there I'll...

Went with a coworker for lunch, they vouched for this place so I was looking forward to it, only to be disappointed... :( Upon arriving there was no greeting from staff, just blank stares as we perused the menu, which I will say, awesome menu if the staff could execute it. I get it, I've worked in a restaurant, it can be incredibly exhausting, but they seemed almost zombie-like, very minimal to no interaction, not even to tell us they were remaking our order after a small mistake on one sandwich.. I still gave them 3 stars as they weren't rude about it and again, I know how a customer service job can be. The store itself was very dirty... Super sticky floors, food and used napkins/cutlery on every single table inside, so we ate outside, we didn't mind since the weather was nice. No fresh napkins or drink lids at drink station, trash was overflowing onto the ground next to the front door. Tried chalking it up to a lunch rush but during the hour we spent there the store was empty besides my coworker, myself and what I saw to be only four employees working at the time. All of which glanced around the lobby numerous times and didn't attempt to clean a single space for anyone to sit and eat at. I don't expect perfect by any means, and I'm aware they have other responsibilities, but we are in this establishment to eat, would be nice for it to be...
Read moreI have three major concerns with Ike’s: policy, staffing and ingredients.
policy - dirty style on everything. I ordered a Tony Soprano which includes Italian dressing as a sauce. I would encourage any sandwich that has a sauce to not get dirty style because this makes the sandwich structurally un-holdable to eat. From a taste perspective all you get is mayo, not Italian dressing. When I got back to work, I was literally cleaning mayonnaise off my wallet.
staffing - this Ike’s has counter service plus a drive through. The drive through is outside of the kitchen so you can see what goes on, which was nothing. I ordered, tried to eat and left with the same two cars in the drive through. I never saw any food go out to them in the half hour I was there. There were only 2 employees while I was there. Someone has to take orders and someone has to make the orders so I don’t know how you man the counter and the drive through at once. This also led my hot sandwich and fried zucchini sides to be room temp / turning cold when I got them.
ingredients - the tomatoes on my sandwich were so green they were crunchy. Not tasty. The description for my sandwich was turkey, ham and salami... my salami had a first name and it was bologna. Not the same thing.
Take these things into consideration as you arrive and order your sandwich. If you don’t, you will end up throwing out half or more of your...
