TL;DR - I'm a picky vegetarian who is afraid of unfamiliar foods and can't handle an ounce of spiciness... I'm obsessed with India's Flame. Longer version - I've been a vegetarian for 20 years now, more than half of my life. I've always been a very picky eater, disliking most vegetables and any foods I wasn't familiar with from childhood. I've had many people tell me for YEARS that I should eat Indian food because it's so vegetarian friendly, and I've been so hesitant and apprehensive because I never had it growing up, therefore it was unfamiliar to me. Some friends finally had me try some other restaurant a few years back... even the "mild" foods made my tongue feel like it was melting, and I couldn't stop coughing. Put me off Indian food for several more years. Last year I tried some other new restaurant, just to try Indian food for the first time in years. It was tasty, but too spicy. Tried a few other places, same thing, usually tasty but too spicy. In comes India's Flame. My saviors of delicious and emaculate Indian food options that are perfectly mild enough for my sensitive taste buds. I've tried a few of their vegetarian options, all delicious, but I always have to go back for my Paneer Masala. One of the best things I've tasted. If you're scared of spicy food, but want to give Indian food a shot, GET INDIA'S FLAME. Even if you like it spicy, I'm sure that's great too even though I wouldn't ask for their spicy version in my wildest dreams, GET INDIA'S FLAME.

It was the soft opening of India's Flame. It's a semi casual restaurant with artful decor. Food was amazing not just my word also from diners present there. Most favorite dishes were Tandoori Chicken & Chicken Tikka Masalla, and why? Because they were flavorful, not too spicy, marinated well and moist Other comments were and I smelled it myself were the aroma and flavor of the various dishes but most importantly not over bearing going through the buffet line. Besides the chicken dishes, I liked the chat, mango lassi, the goat curry, chiana motor, aloo-ghobi, and the halwa. The halwa was very tasteful with the aroma of ghee (clarified butter oil). Not to sweet and the raisin was an added touch. Based on food and atmosphere alone India's Flame is worth repeated visits. It holds about 80 diners so it is also good for large group gatherings, event meetings or even personal business meeting with privacy. I think I am going to be a regular there. It's a family business operated by the parents and their two children. They have earned my loyalty with the food, the quality of service, and their warm hospitality with always present friendly smile.

We went in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was fairly crowded. It's around $16 per person for the buffet. It weren't allowing À la carte orders at the time. The non veg options included baked fish, chicken Tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and chicken curry. The tandoori chicken kebab had food coloring in it and was super dry. The chicken Tikka masala had a sweet-sour gravy. And the chicken curry had a bland tomato based gravy. The baked fish had a strong fishy smell which isn't characteristic of the dish Didn't really enjoy any of the meat options. The veg options has a potato-cauliflower dry sabji, curry pakoda, chhole masala, pakode, a mixed Daal (lentil soup), and palak paneer. The curry pakoda and the mixed Daal were the best out of the lot. The salad section had fruits, yoghurt raita, Indian style pickle, and lettuce salad. This section wasn't bad. For dessert they had a kheer and fruit Custard. Their fruit Custard is undoubtedly their best offering. Even though I paid full price for the buffet, it was the custard that I enjoyed the most. The rest was kind of disappointing. Perhaps they are aiming to serve more of Americanized Indian food, so our expectations were misdirected since we were looking for authentic Indian food. Even their naan was disappointing because it tasted a lot more like pita bread than it did like a traditional naan. It's possible that we chose the wrong day to visit. Another odd thing I must mention is that despite serving so many curry based dishes, they provide bowls only for the dessert. I didn't enjoy being reprimanded for taking a bowl for a serving of the curry pakoda. As the plates are small, and due to the nature of the Indian gravies, bowls are needed for eating comfortably. I do hope they change this policy.

India's Flame offers an unforgettable dining experience that truly brings the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine to life. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and inviting aromas set the tone for an exceptional meal. The menu boasts a wide variety of authentic dishes, each crafted with rich spices and fresh ingredients. The Chicken Tikka Masala is perfectly creamy with a bold kick of flavor, and the Garlic Naan is soft, buttery, and the ideal complement to every dish. The vegetarian options are just as impressive, with the Paneer Butter Masala and Chana Masala standing out for their depth and taste. The service is equally outstanding. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine that delivers on both flavor and presentation, India's Flame is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Outstanding dinner food and service. We ordered the Tikka Masala, chicken tandoori, and butter naan. It was just my wife and myself. There was more than enough food, and I have a good appetite. Delicious!!!! I discovered this restaurant when I was looking at my hotel, Embassy Suites Tempe, on Google Maps. I read the reviews and decided this would be our dinner spot after we checked in. The restaurant was a 2-3 min walk directly across the street. We were not disappointed in the least. The interior isn’t fancy, however, it is clean & well cared for. The prices, quality, and quantity, if you like Indian food, are very good. I would definitely return! FYI- I have never been here before, and there is no relationship to anyone in this restaurant. I am just passing on a tip to future travelers BobbyWz Brentwood, Ca
