I've been here a couple times now and enjoy coming here. The patio is pet friendly and they even have dog bowls available on request. The people who work here are friendly and helpful in my experience so far. Both the lunch sandwich and breakfast steak and eggs I've tried were very good tho the steak was a bit over done, the bread they have is great, the hashbrowns were good, the eggs were tasty on my visit and made any way you like. My friend had the French toast made on there bread and he gave it a high recommendation. The portions are good and priced decently. They have some "breakfast" type adult beverages available and a selection of tea and coffee that's of great quality and good variety. My only real gripe and why I didn't give 5 stars isn't a deal breaker but worth mentioning. The ordering system is a bit troublesome when they get busy. Menus are posted on the wall where you stand in line and a smaller one at the counter where you order. At times the seating area is sparse but the line is out the door due to the limits of ordering your food b4 being seated. The friendly nature of the employees can add to the time in line as does fancy drink orders or any indecision in food orders, I waited 20 min in line my first visit b4 taking a seat, there was a free "reg coffee" table available while waiting in line and it was worth the wait in my option. The food arrived fast even when they were fairly busy, it's open seating after you order and there is a buffet style area with the fountain drinks utensils and condiments. Great breakfast and lunch spot open early. Great choice and I definitely will return...
Read moreUnfortunately Sunday was the last time I will visit this place. I've been going there once a week since moving because it's walking distance. The review is Not because of the food or the servers, this is more toward management and how they handle a situation. My family and I went there Sunday and as we always do my father sits at a table and we go and place our order. When I see the manager speaking to my dad, when I ask my dad what that was about he said that the manager told him that he couldn't sit at a table until he ordered. It is very common for people to sit at a table as part of your group goes and place their order, then they come back and the other group goes next. I asked a few people about the situation and that is a very common practice. I walked around the restaurant and didn't see a sign that stated that you need to order first. If he he wanted to enforce that rule then he needed to tell the other tables around us that had no number and looking at a menu but he did not, basically we felt like he was singling us out. Apparently the reason the manager came up was because someone complained and wanted our table. Some of the staff told the manager that I was looking for him but all of the sudden he was busy in his office until we almost left. I see the manager come out not to speak to me but to actually give a complementary dessert to the people that complained about us. I was a GM for a restaurant with a similar concept. I never told a customer to order first then seat at a table. Terrible management definetly not going...
Read moreWent for breakfast on a Sunday morning and basically every food item we tried was awful. Coffee tasted like it was burnt and not enough creamer or sugar made it palatable. One of the breakfast burritos had something hard in it that could have chipped a tooth. I could not guess at all what it was looking at the ingredients of the burrito, ended up sending it back because I was too grossed out to eat the rest. The cinnamon rolls they have look like a hollowed out and overcooked bagel with a scoop of whipped cream in the middle. Nothing like cinnamon rolls you'd expect and not worth trying. The hash browns that came with the burrito were super garlic flavored. Personally I thought they tasted good and I like garlic in my food, but it was not at all expected and not indicated on the menu. If you are not a fan of garlic I could imagine that would taste quite gross. The mimosas they had were made in a gigantic pitcher that they just filled a champagne flute with to serve you. This is not at all a surprise when places do bottomless mimosas. However, they let it get lukewarm and the bubbles get stale because they have far too large of a pitcher that they are not refreshing.
Basically, every bit of food we got was terrible and we sent half of our order back. The only thing stopping us from sending the other half back was the effort to point out every aspect they dropped the ball on. There are tons of other breakfast joints, go somewhere else for a far...
