We looked forward to this evening for 2 months, very excited to only have the worst experience possible last night. Food was horrid and out of my party of six, four did not eat including myself. Mushy, over boiled medley of veggies, likely out of the frozen food section with zero seasoning, the potatoes were boiled, dry and also no seasoning. The chicken was overly dry and fish was like a canned tuna patty and dry. My husband ate because he was raised to eat what is put in front of him and our friend Christine ate because she was starving and shrugged saying “well, it’s edible”. Nothing but water was included with the meal, no iced tea, coffee, juice, or milk. The bar prices were crazy high for the tiniest glass of wine I’ve ever been served. We went to the hotel bar for a couple of sodas because they were cheaper. Hungry, we asked for more dinner rolls and those dinner rolls became our dinner, basically we were fed Bread & Water.
The venue acoustics were terrible, we could not hear half of what the Narrator was saying and similar with others partaking in the event. The acting was okay, but nothing noteworthy or memorable. Too much unrelated slapstick with others causing us to not be able to follow the crime or what was even going on.
All six of us have great, if not sick, sense of humor and love a good time, but… My son walked out at the beginning of Act 2, he texted me “are you coming”. My daughter-in-law walked out, forgetting her purse. We noticed others at table 3 had left earlier and another couple at our table also had left. So, I grabbed my daughter-in-law’s purse and my entire party of six decided to leave long before the event was over. The food didn’t keep us, and the acting didn’t keep us.
My son and I had done a Murder Dinner before so knew what to expect. This failed miserably and is by far the worst $487.26 I ever spent. None of us will recommend this to anyone. It needs a lot of improvement.
We sent a complaint via email and through their "Contact Us" on their website, requesting some type of refund, and have had zero response.
Day 8 and we finally received a very candid reply from the business this morning who was strongly disappointed I wrote the review rather than deal with it "in private" and they have graciously issued a...
Read moreThis was a night out for us. We were celebrating a birthday. We found the whole experience amusing amd entertaining. What we didn't care for much was the dinner. They have around 10 people sittig at a curcular table. Kinda sucks if you are trying to see the events whichbmainly take place in the center of the room. Maybe long tables would be better. We found that our dessert was already on the table along with our salad when we came in. We also had to purchase our drinks at the bar before entering. They only serve water. We purchased 2 apiece so we wouldn't have to keep getting up like other were doing and missing clues. We had 3 servers only and they were really yryingto get the food out in a quick and efficient manner. The portions were not that great and I must say we did stop off to get something else after 3 hour stay. Both of us had physically worked earlier and had held off eating big lunches because we thought we would get a sufficient meal. Considering what we paid. We did not care for all the work that the audience was expected to do. There was phone scanning and writing to do. Interviews and theories that all had to be written out in order to claim a prize. We did forgo most of it and just sat back and watched the mystery unfold. It was entertaining and the actors are lively but, I probably won't attend again. I would advise anyone thinking about it to just "know before you go". They don't mention alot of what we experienced in the...
Read moreTerrible Experience. You can get actual dinner theater in Phoenix for the same price as this frat party disguised as "theatre".
Attended on 12/3/22. We were ignored by the bartender. The food had been sitting on the table so long when we got there that the salad was wilted and the cheesecake had crusted over on the top (Also, didn't we just get through a pandemic? Major turn-off that my food had been breathed on by everyone in that room). The salmon and veggies were served luke-warm. The audience was rowdy and loud - even the actors had to tell people to pipe down. That wasn't exactly a problem until I was harassed by an apparently intoxicated patron during the show; my husband and I both asked him to back off two times, and the management did nothing to intervene. We left less than half-way through. The company has still not responded to our request for a call back to express...
