Mad Fresh Kitchen — Restaurant in Tempe

I used to like this place. The last time I walked in to place an order no one showed up after I stood there and rang their bell multiple times. They have shifted to an order on line system, so this morning I ordered on line, waited until the appropriate time to pick up and walked over to collect my order. It was only then that they even noticed that they had an order and began to prepare it. This was after I had waited the 20 minutes. As they began to prepare the order they informed me they did not have several ingredients and wanted to substitute--now after the time I had expected to be picking the order up. I asked for order to be cancelled and to have the charges reversed. They said they would, then handed me cash--not reversing the charges. That and they shorted me a few cents on the cash. It might seem petty to complain about the few cents, but on top of everything it was the las straw. Not going back. Sad as they are...

The food is AMAZING!!! Was surprised to see the portions were large and the vegetables were so fresh! The grilled chicken and steak are sooo good! Also, love how the food is seasoned (my husband and I argue over who gets the baby potatoes and the seasoned cilantro rice is perfection) 🤭 and we love the Balanced Meals menu changes weekly! This is our 3rd week and we are so grateful we stumbled upon this meal prep site. Side note: the tracking app is super helpful in providing real time updates on when your delivery is expected to arrive. This is a lifesaver for busy/working parents and gives us more time to do family activities each night. No cooking, no cleanup is a win win for me!
