So the website says that you can do a double feature which is 2 games 2 hrs and $30. When we tried to book for my daughter's birthday (6 of us in total) it came out to $380 đ˛ so I called the business thinking maybe they are having technical difficulties. When I called in I asked to speak with a manager and the man on the phone said he was the owner. So I explained what had happened and he said "thanks for bringing it to my attention but it's $30 per person per game." I told him that that was not what the site was advertising because really if you were going to pay the $30 per game no matter what, then why do a double feature? Why not just pick 2 games you want to play? It's the same price, except when you're looking on the page. I asked if he was going to honor what his page said (seeing as how it's advertised as a double feature with 2hrs of game play for $30. No "per person" attached anywhere.) He said no. And for probably the 10th time said "thanks for bringing it to my attention." Sounds like terrible business practices and false advertising. Anything to get people through the door. Disgusting.
I'd like to add in response to your response that that is not true. I was very respectful and nice in pointing this out. Like I said I believed it was a technical difficulty. You on the other hand were very rude with your one answer of "thank you for bringing it to my attention". Please do not come on here and say that I was any way other than respectful. You can not slander me just because I was honest with the public about our interaction. This only shows more of your character.
You can see in my picture why it is "confusing" he advertises 2 hrs but then wants us to just assume it's $30x2. If it has the total game play it should also have the total price. It's false advertising at its finest.
Haha guess it's a good thing I took a picture before you JUST changed the wording on the page to try to make me look like a liar. As you can see you were in the wrong and know it.
Thank you for changing it so that people will know and so that it's now advertised...
Read moreI'd like to start this review by stating I've personally completed around 40 escape rooms in several parts of the country. This one in particular ranks in the top 5. The electronical mechanisms were fantastic. The escape room was very well made, and it was evident that so much thought went into each room. While I was there, I completed two rooms. After finishing, the game master informed me that their entire room runs on a system that changes puzzle difficulty based on your play style. The game becomes easier if your progress slows down. That's the coolest thing I've ever heard. This room isn't the basic "key unlocks box that has another key inside". It's so much more in-depth than that. There are multiple puzzles happening at the same time. So there are puzzles in the rooms I've completed with my team that I never laid a finger on. No one feels left out, and there is always something to discover. There were also numerous references to pop culture hidden throughout the rooms to excite those that have the eye to find them. If you're a Doctor Who fan, I highly recommend the Time Machine Ch. 1: Deja Vu room. Aside from the absolutely astonishing level of enjoyment through each room, I was impressed at everything else as well. The customer service was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was very friendly, and I knew I was never alone in the room as I was given nudges throughout the game whenever stuck. The entire building was immaculately clean. If you're in the area, and you've ever even CONSIDERED going to an escape room, this is my...
Read moreFirst time booking an escape room at this place and was excited to see that they had a back-to-back combo special (DEJA VU & THE SECRET GALLERY) 2 rooms at a discount! We booked it as a duo group and the game master (Adam) was very friendly/welcoming when we arrived. Allowed us ample time to use the sparkling clean restroom and all before starting.
Out of all the escape rooms that i've done around the valley, you could definitely see the time and care that they put into making the experience as immersive and well-detailed as possible. The rooms had a good balance between interactive puzzles and traditional locks. Although, they did put extra-effort into the special-effects compared to what I normally see! Sometimes when we thought the next door would be the exit, something else would happen and it was really refreshing! Lastly, a few of the puzzles either a bit tedious for smaller groups or too easy and might cause an issue for larger groups that can finish a bit too quickly?
Overall though, I would still give it a 5+ star experience and will be coming back to finish the rest of their rooms. Blown away by all the effort put into decorating the room, music, atmosphere, and special effects!
One suggestion is that it would've been nice if the premise/story given at the beginning before or upon entering the room would've been accompanied with some video or media showcasing it. Would have made the experience even more immersive along side the...
