I only said I wouldn’t be returning after you emailed me saying no credit would be provided. Your response here is just another example of the dishonest way you run your business. Honestly, I don’t know how you’re still in charge, especially when you hire people who can’t even cook properly. Your own store manager admitted on the phone that the chicken was undercooked and unacceptable—I have the call recorded, and so do you, since all calls are recorded for “quality and training.” Or is that just another lie? Rotten fruit falls eventually, and with practices like this, it’s only a matter of time before people realize the health risks of dining here, as they will fall sick. I genuinely hope others don’t have to deal with the dishonesty and lack of accountability that I experienced. You should be more concerned about the customers who keep your business running. As I was eating my chicken, I noticed it was undercooked and pink. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. The manager instructed me to email a photo of the chicken, which I did. Over the phone, the manager acknowledged that the chicken was unacceptable and promised that the owner would follow up with either a refund of $14.96 or store credit. I asked when I could expect an update, and she assured me it would be by the end of the day. When I called back later that evening, I was told the manager had already left. I asked how I could receive my refund and was told by staff that there was nothing they could do. Meanwhile, I’m experiencing breakouts on my face and stomach, prompting me to seek medical attention at urgent care. When I called again to speak with someone in a managerial role, another employee rudely responded, “Didn’t the last person tell you the manager isn’t here?” and hung up. The manager later claimed I needed to provide more details, despite having discussed everything thoroughly when I first reported the issue. Shortly after, I received an email from the owner denying my refund, citing “insufficient information,” even though I followed all their instructions. This business refused to refund $14.96, despite putting my health at risk. Their handling of this situation was not only negligent but also reflects their greed and complete disregard for customers. If they won’t take accountability for something so minor, it’s clear their priorities are in the wrong place. I will not be returning, and I caution others to avoid this establishment at all costs. I have reported them to the health department.

Ever since my mother and I wandered in to Opa Life one day we have been satisfied. Staff have always been friendly and still remain so to this day. Professional, polite, but personable. Feel like coming back one or two more times? Feel like being a regular? They'll remember you. Having spoken with the owner on numerous occasions, all of their ingredients are organic, their pita is made fresh daily, and they boast some large portions sizes regardless of dish. They have a happy hour with local brew on tap with the option to rotate out for seasonal selections. They have a barista station, as well as a full bar in this coffee-liquor-cafe mashup -- I could not be more pleased. The flavor is always prominent. The smiles come aplenty. There is a manager for live music numerous times a week throughout each month. They have an outside seating area and wrap around patio. It's just one of those cozy places you feel like trying out in the neighborhood but turn out to be one of the better decisions made in your restaurant selections. Definitely try out their housemade baklava cheesecake or lunch specials. Want a quick bite? Greek Fries for those cheat days that remind us just why it's so good to be bad.

Opa Life beef is on the rare-side. I don't mind it. But for someone like my mom she would have returned it. Beef is tricky. Sometimes its chewy. My order was $16 (or $17) + $1 for extra sauce. I wish it was less expensive. I ordered "The steak Pita". The lady who took my order didn't ask "what side I wanted". It comes with salad or fries. There was no dressing for salad. Be sure to ask. Lastly, and this is a big one... They put salad and pita next to one another! Pita got soggy. There should be a basket paper to separate. I am going to email that suggestion. Oh, and as of July 2021 there is NO menu on Opa Life (Tempe location) website. PRO's: Salad was huge! Pitas are fresh! Mom ordered a side of Garlic Hummus Oh my goodness that saved the day, Comes with 2 pitas! I saw a Full bar Take-out: Ready 10-20m like they said.

I love Greek food. I was unexpectedly disappointed with Opa Life Greek Cafe. I expected to get two lamb skewers but got one. I thought the menu picture had two. I expected to get a full-portion plate of calamari as ordered, but got one wimpy small portion on a big plate as pictured in the photo. Everything tasted OK, but not great. I felt jipped with the food portions. The restaurant felt under staffed for the number of customers. I will most likely not return to this restaurant. Replying to the restaurant's reply: I did speak to two of your staff about the small portion of calamari. Once when it was served at my table. One of staff even walked the plate back to the kitchen to ask. They returned the plate stating that it was the correct portion.

Our dinner plans were cancelled and we decided to check out Opas. I am so glad e did, service was spot on, food was wonderful and the atmosphere was laid back. We started with the hummus trio, the garlic was to die for. All were good, but I would come back just for that garlic hummus. For some reason the Margherita pizza was calling my name, no ideal why. It was good, thin and had decent flavor. Next time I'm going with a pita. The Husband went big and ordered the Opa Greek Burger with Greek fries. It was a monster of a Burger, the kind once you pick it up you can't put it down. He loved it. I ended up stealing some of the fries. They were addicting. The place got super busy, which is good sign. We will definitely be back!

This is by far the best Greek Cafe I have ever been to! We got the pizza during happy hour and it was half off. We also ordered the Greek fries with a lamb kabob. The kabob came with pitas so we made a sandwich with the lamb. It was delicious. The Greek frys had a tangy caeser flavored sauce on them that was the best flavored crispy fries I've ever had. I'm not typical a fan of thin crust pizza but this one was epic. Flavor was perfect with all the toppings. The crust was crispy on the bottom yet still soft on the top. The crust was the same crispy outside and soft inside. Highly recommend this to everyone. The menu was huge too! We look forward to going back and trying more options!
