Someburros — Restaurant in Tempe

I usually love Someburros. Have for years. Although I am once again not in love with their online ordering or the lack of customer service. This afternoon we placed an online order so we could swing through and pick it up while out running errands. We arrive a few minutes after the order was to be ready and were told that it would be a few more minutes from Isaac. Isaac then asks for payment. We were bewildered since we had already paid on line. Isaac told us to hold on and then returned explaining that the app had an issue where they didn't receive the order. Instead someone from the app called them to place the order. Isaac then offered for us to speak with the manager. He said she was finishing something up and then would be over. We waited and I checked my account to confirm that payment had not gone through. And we continue to wait. The manager came over twice to address something on the register and neither time acknowledged us. I finally asked Isaac if she was actually coming. Angel finally came over. She stated the error with the app again. Not once did she offer an apology or take any responsibility. She was clearly agitated with the conversation and kept repeating that it was an issue with the app and stating there was nothing she could do. I asked why, if they knew there was an issue, and they had my contact information, I hadn't been contacted. Angel reiterated that there was nothing they could. Everything is good here all the time. They have good drinks too other than soda. They have a mango lime drink that's so good I highly recommend it you want to drink more but your tummy will be so full from drinking one glass. For food I usually get a cheese enchilada with extra onions like my grandma used to make so good. Or I'll get a shredded beef taco delicious. Sometimes I'll go for the Bean tostada yummy and filling. Or I'll get the three-way burrow it's not on the menu anymore but they'll still make it for you it's red chili green chili and beans it's so good. They keep the place clean & the staff is friendly. Chips and salsa are always good.

UPDATE: Went to someburros about 2 weeks ago and unfortunately it looks like they changed some things out on the chips were not the same wasn't a big fan of the change in the chips and I ordered a bean tostada and it was on the flimsiest tostada shell I think I've ever had in my life the moment I picked it up it broke into three pieces so you know if you've ever had tostadas it has to be built on a sturdy shell so just to update Someburros made some changes. I don't know if they are temporary changes or if this is the way it's going to be going forward but just so you know it was a little more than disappointing for me. I have been coming to Someburros for years now, but I have never come to this location and I must say I was disgusted with my whole experience when I ordered my food tonight. First off, I ordered my food online, and I showed up 10 minutes early just so they could tell me that they never saw my order. They asked me to wait in the parking lot so they could bring my food out to me when it was finished. 35 minutes later, the lady I spoke to brought my food out and handed me a 15$ gift card wrapped in an envelope and said "this is for waiting, have a good night." I was angry but I was hungry so I let it go. I got home with the food to eat with my family and started to pull out the food from the bag. Not only did they forget to put in a part of my order, but the food was disgusting, soggy, and cold. Again, I let it go as I figured they were busy for taco Tuesday night. While we were eating, my mom yelled "ow!" And pulled out a full toothpick that was laying sideways inside her taco. My dad called the manager right away and she was short, rude and didn't offer any type of solution, but insisted that everything they had done wrong was alright because she "gave me a gift card for waiting". I was uterly disgusted with the food and the horrible customer service and I will be telling everyone I know to stay away from this location....
