So, my friend's son met a guy at the swimming pool who said he hosts karaoke at Final Round, so we went. We had fun! This place is kinda cozy and it got packed which was handled really well by staff and host. There were some really good singers, heavy on the classic 80's and 90's grunge. The rotation was a little long but the energy was super up and friendly so it went quickly. My only thing was the sound. It was a real disappointment. You couldn't hear the music or yourself in the 🎤 mic. When my friends sang it was the same and the music wasn't balanced properly. Too much bass and misds, not enough treble and the gains were turned down too low so the signal couldnt compress to prevent feedback. I couldn't tell if it was the system being inadequate or failing or if it was an operator issue or a management decision but it was a real bummer to not hear what we came for. On the lighter side, we really had fun meeting everyone and singing along! Other details that might matter: yes, they serve food and late, it's a typical bar fare and the wings were popular and smelled really good but we didn't order food. The place is shaped like a horseshoe so the karaoke is isolated on one side and the pool tables, darts and other games and tvs are down the hall. There is a large outdoor patio where you can have your drink and grab a smoke while sitting in comfortable patio furniture seating. This is one of those places that is off the beaten path and has a unique flair that is all it's own. A favorite of locals and sports teams after game parties, this place attracts a broad section of rabel rousing karaoke enthusiasts who, overall, really showed us a good time. We may possibly go here again, even if just to hang with these guys again! Really cool group of people...
Read moreI'm not one to get upset or anything, and I'm very patient, however, the Saturday night staff is trash. Tonight was my 3rd instance with this crew where excessive wait times have been a problem. I strongly suggest you get an additional bartender because the staff that are there on Saturdays are not getting it done. People are super pissed off at having to wait for drinks and food. My experience Tonight is that I walked into the bar at 10:22 and ordered a drink, and since I've had service issues before on Saturday's, I ordered my food to go at the same time. However, after 3 drinks, checking my phone, and finally getting the bartender attention, I close out at 11:40 and bartender says that my pizza is coming up, but at 1230, my food was still not ready, after I paid the damn check. The bartender finally gave me some bullshit about a computer error, but the amount on the receipt was indicative of what my tab would be with 3 drinks and a pizza. When I received my bill, I still gave a tip, but, my next tip is I will not return to this place on a Saturday as long as those two bartenders are working alone. You guys are going to start losing your Saturday night crowd if you don't correct this issue soon. I'm so missed and disappointed, because I have spent a lot of money at this place over the last year that I've lived in Phoenix. This is bullshit and I'm highly missed off. Get your Saturday night service together. I strongly suggest you place a mystery shopper there for confirmation of my experience and the experience of so many other patrons, that may not take the time to write this review. This experience is the worst service experience that I've had in a long time, and I'm considering just finding another establishment for this type of...
Read moreI love going there. I have only been 2 times, but I like places like this. It is a homey sports bar with sooo many TVs. They always have the football games on on Sundays which is why I went there the 1st time. They were very accommodating and even offered us to have the sound on for our game in a different spot of the restaurant. I like going, it has a nice vibe and the food and drinks are good. I love the wings although I usually get the wing and pizza combo. The pizza is a little greasy but what do you expect when you go out for pizza...that's part of the appeal :). 4$ mini pitchers on sundays and the 14.95 pizza and wings combo is a great way to go on Sundays to watch football. You can tell that there are mostly regulars there and they have a close knit group. However, we get great service and they are really nice and welcoming. Our server both times was the blonde lady that also works behind the bar. She is very sweet and pretty, I can't believe someone said that all the waitresses are fat, how rude! This is not the kind of sports bar that exploits young women's good looks. Instead, they are a cozy welcoming bar with a great family vibe. I really...
