Oops Boba Tea & Coffee — Restaurant in Temple City

Delicious boba drinks and affordable food! They have a great deal for a snack + drink for $12.99 or a sandwich + drink for $13.99. Oops has an extensive drink menu with lots of great choices, and many drinks can be made caffeine-free (just be sure to specify when ordering). I loved the strawberry cheese foam yogurt which has a generous layer of cheese foam on top, strawberry and tea flavored slush in the middle, and strawberry pieces on the bottom. I added agar boba, and there were other topping choices as well. I tried the barbecue chicken sandwich, and there was a generous amount of chicken and also a simple salad and dressing on the side. There was a parking lot, but all the spots said for employees only, so I recommend parking on the street. Average customer service, but I was amazed their one middle aged female employee was able to do everything: take orders, prepare drinks and food, and bring the sandwiches out. My cousin and I went there and received really rude service from staff members. Attitude was unwelcoming and lowkey racist. I think they thought we weren't Chinese and didn't know anything about boba, but we are Chinese and we do. The way they spoke to us was just very off putting. I originally asked for egg pudding, but they didn't have it and that's okay. I said I didn't want boba cause I personally don't like boba, but she asked me if I wanted it three times and even after we paid she said she would include it for free (keep in mind I said that I told her I don't like boba). Food portion is half the size of what you get at other places, but actually seasoned nicely, but can actually get heavy handed with the cayanne pepper if you ask for spice. The sizes for the drinks are perfect for the price point, but again a little heavy with the syrups. I say this cause we got 6 drinks and sad to say we found there was almost no difference between 25% and 100% sweetness... some constructive criticism, it's nice to still be able to taste the tea, so cutting the pumps 1 or so less than normally would be a good idea.
