I have been following Baekjeong for quite some time now, ever since the first location I have been to in Koreatown in Los Angeles. I started to see different chains of these in different cities. Although the one in Rowland Heights is closer to me, I had to drive out here because this was the only Baekjeong around where I love that actually also opens for Lunch during the day. The Rowland Heights only opens for lunch during the weekend. Either or, this was my second time eating at this location, first time eating in doors for Korean BBQ ever since the pandemic. It was so good, and just as I remembered it. The service was great, and I believe even though everything is A La Carte, the quality and experience is just awesome. Something to note is that the closest entrance next to the parking lot is an exit, you will need to walk to the front where there is a fountain for the entrance. It also seems that the outdoor seating that they set up during COVID last year, isn’t being used ever since the indoors opened.

Food I would recommend anyone to get the Beef Combo. For a family of 3, the small was a great size, we went a little bit overboard ordering an extra bimbimbop, but we were able to have another meal with the leftovers the next day. I would recommend the prime meat with the marble, as you do get a choice for the combo. I wished I was able to try the pork jawl again, as I haven’t had that for a long time, but remember it was really good. As you eat, you get many different Banchans, rice paper, dips, salt, and even kimchi pancake(you can order more) The best part I would say is the egg and corn and cheese that cooks around the grill! (Which is also refillable) What is better then Korean bbq? Well someone doing the bbq for you, and this is what they do here. So make sure you take care of your server!

I would like to note that both times that I have been at the location, the floor did seem sort of sticky, most likely because of all of the BBQ going on. Either or I wouldn’t mind driving out here again. I believe the value of what you pay for, the food the service is just superb. Cant wait to stop by again soon,...

Very Disappointed -5 stars if there is an option for negative stars.

After reviewing other low rating comments, I realize some past customers have a similar situation as mine.

I was told to wait for about 20 to 25 minutes for a party of 7. Although it was 50 degrees Fahrenheit, waiting for a table is usual and expected. However, I didn't expect to wait 40 mins +30mins (over an hour total) while the host forgot about my party. He wrongly memorized my party and blamed me without any apologies. Lasha, the host, told me to wait outside of Baekjeong and visit back when I receive the second text message that my table is ready. I was very patient and stared at the text message section where I received the first message saying that I was in the line while waiting next to the front entrance of Baekjeong.

End up waiting 40+ minutes and additional 30+ minutes while there were plenty of available smaller party tables. Lasha, the host, assigned 2 small groups to sit together on a straight line bench...

My friends and I offer to sit separately, but he does not allow us to sit separately because it is inconvenient for their services. After we asked for a solution, the only solution he could think of was for us to wait another 30 minutes. Unbelievable.

Lasha was not sorry about the situation because he said that I was supposed to go back in to let him know that all parties were there while I already said that everyone was there at the very beginning. That’s why he told me to wait for the text message to come back. I think he messed up my parties with someone else. He does not listen to customer’s complain, and just tells me that I am wrong because he remembered that my parties are not all here yet. Because of his messed-up memory, he did not sorry and yelled back at me. The customer service is poor.

Suggestions: Assign tables smartly, please Improvement of Customer Service skills Patio heaters Text message waiting list use it as...

I visited your restaurant last Sunday around 1:20 pm. After waiting at the entrance briefly, a staff member named Michael showed us to our table. Usually, a host will pause at the table and gesture to show us where to sit. However, Michael quickly walked past us, briefly saying “this table” without turning back. We felt confused about which table he meant, as there were several nearby. We eventually found a table that was set and assumed it was ours.

Although we waited quite a while to be served, I understand that it may have been busy, so we were patient. However, when we asked our server for some water, no one came for a long time. Then, we saw Michael walking past, and my husband asked him for water as well. In response, Michael snapped, “I don’t understand what you say,” and walked away abruptly.

While my husband isn’t a fluent English speaker, his request was simple and should have been understood. Even if Michael didn’t understand, his dismissive tone and behavior were extremely upsetting, especially with our teenage daughter witnessing the exchange. This left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.

I’m not sure if this behavior was because of the restaurant’s popularity or if it was possibly due to racial discrimination. Whatever the reason, it left a very negative impression. I sincerely hope that this feedback will be used to improve your staff training to ensure that future guests, particularly other non-native English speakers who may visit, receive respectful and...

@BaekjeongKBBQ in #TempleCity is a solid spot for #KBBQ 🔥 in the #626. They got your classics like #Bibimbap and #Japchae, and the meats 🍖 here are so good. We of course enjoyed the classic #Galbi, but they got it all. So if you’re in #SGV add this one to your list. #SGVFoodie #SGVFood
