Naga Tea — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

Good 🧋, very nice, calming 🪬 atmosphere🌌. The bathroom🚽🧻 was clean and very tidy ✨and actually had nice fixtures and was disinfected🧼( see 📸). I was 🔺 on August 27th, in the afternoon, around 1:00 p.m. The 👧 that made our 🍹🧋 she made them very fast and they were very 🤤, and yummy, that's putting it lightly. No problem with our 🥤🧋. The 👧🏻 that took our order, (there were 2 ladies working) you could tell we had never been there before, and also told them as such, 👧🏻 said that "you can't mix any flavors, you can't put an extra flavor in your drink, basically you have to only get specifically what's listed and that's it, nothing can be added except for when you get tea, you can add the fruit or puree, but you cannot add any other flavors to your drink" , (now mind you my partner ordered a 🥥 matcha milk ☕ with mango puree, a drink on a board not on the menu). Now, you can get 🫧boba or the jellies, but if you want to add any other 🍓🍑🍊🍌🥭🍍🍐🍈🍠🍇 other than what the menu states it has in each drink, its not possible AT ALL. Basically, in summary "they cannot put anything in your drink besides boba's or jellies unless u get a fruit tea then you can alter it, otherwise no cigar." - according to the 👧🏻 that was running register this day. Now I understand every place has rules and that's fine. But I really don't believe that I cannot add anything to a 🧋🥤, considering the drink that my partner had. It just doesn't make sense. Sorry just had to rant a little bit but I thought she was kind of rude; considering we had never been there before and also, after we got our 🍹🍸, we were asking questions about the cute little pins ( see 📸) and they completely ignored us and we're playing on their 📱, having their own conversations. ( Soich for that, asked for a price didn't get an answer ) So again, the drinks were amazing and very fast but customer service was mediocre at best. I feel like the situation could have gone a alot-a-bit better. Great place to stay for late night study because not many boba places open with the same hours. Free Wifi on top of that. Staff is always friendly. I love their choice of coffee jelly. Otherwise stores only have herb jelly, not horrible just a preference. Another great point is 90% of their products are fresh from the fruit/product. They make their purées from the house.

Amazing specialty drinks, but hit or miss. I absolutely HATE non-adjustable sweetness level. I asked if the lychee expresso could be changed, but the recipe is fixed to stay at that level. So I asked another drink, "Ube x Taro." Staff responded no because the product is premade. They claimed the sweetness was fine, but it tasted like 200%. I would not care if they put 80% milk and 20% of the UbeTaro. Another visit from long ago, I've ordered Ube by itself without adjustments, it was a straight trip home so I could add milk to dilute it no problem.

Unfortunately, the recent visit was a work day so I had to leave before asking a change. Reason why I'm livid is because of the wasted trip to this place instead of Tea stori or Moge Tee. Both places BTW, is perfectly sweet without adjustments.

I also never liked the staff staring at you when you just arrived at the place. The menu photos were not updated at the time so I was prepared to be pressured into ordering asap. The staff confirmed it was a menu from long ago so I needed a different drink. I was clearly looking at the menu, just say you'll come back in 5 minutes instead of looking at me for eternity. Mind you it would be the same treatment with no line, and one customer at a table. Different people on shift too.

Besides that they don't bite, not rude when ordering, just the passive aggressive staring. The quality in drink adjustments...

I had a different experience compared to some of these other reviewers.

Service - 1/5: There was 3 of the employees that were working at the time I arrived and one customer ahead of me. So they really weren't busy. The staff didn't even give me a reply or say anything when I thanked them for making me my drink. They didn't even say "Have a nice day" or anything.

Price - 1/5: I ordered a Lychee Matcha with Boba and the price came out to be $6.10. This is pretty expensive considering the size of the drink and the ingredients.

Taste - 2/5: I didn't really like the taste that much. There weren't real lychee in there and most of the drink tasted like black tea with some flavoring with boba in the bottom.

Uniqueness - 3/5: The drink was pretty unique to me because I never really had a drink with boba in it, also known as "bubble tea". So if you never had a bubble tea, then I would recommend anyone to try it but it doesn't have to be from this place.
