Saigon Bay — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

I want to share a serious concern for anyone who is vegetarian, vegan, or has a shellfish allergy. Despite labeling some menu items as “vegetarian,” Saigon Bay uses oyster sauce in these dishes. Oysters are animals, and oyster sauce is not vegetarian.

This isn’t just a concern for people avoiding animal products for ethical or dietary reasons. It’s a major health risk for anyone who cannot consume shellfish. Labeling a dish “vegetarian” and then including shellfish-based ingredients is misleading and potentially dangerous.

Wow — everything was so good! 😍 We didn’t even have to wait to be seated, and our appetizers came out in under three minutes — hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We started with the crab rangoon and fresh rolls, and that peanut sauce… unreal! 🥜🔥

For entrées, we tried the Pork Bún and the Spicy Beef & Pork Phở. Heads up — at some places the crispy roll is included with the bún, but here you order it separately. Totally worth it either way! The phở broth had incredible depth — rich, flavorful, and downright addictive. We even took the remaining broth to go! 🍜💚

Unbelievable customer service provided by Ricky to rectify an order that was made incorrectly. I called the restaurant to explain the situation and Ricky ensured me the next time I place an order Bánh Mi sandwiches they are on the house. A month later I went to the store and spoke to Ricky. He immediately remembered the situation and was a man of his word in taking care of our Bánh Mi sandwiches. Thank you for making it right Ricky.
