Over the Christmas Break, we had our kiddos that live in San Diego down for a visit. They all love eating Bush's Chicken, so we stopped at Bush's Chicken on West Adams in Temple. We ordered our food and the server brought us our food (not sure if that is normal- we usually order through the takeout line)! When we finished our dinner and free drinks (we forgot to order them, so they comped 6 drinks!) we asked our server if we could buy a hoodie!
My stepdaughter Emme, loves Bush's Chicken and wanted a hoodie. She even tried getting one from another location. Our server looked in the back and could not find one her size. He wrote down his name, email, and phone number and told me he could order one her one from corporate. I noticed his name was Corey Bush. I asked him if that was a coincidence and humbly said that his story was on the wall. He was CEO!! I can not say enough about how impressed I was by his demeanor, his heart for service, and his leadership. It was a busy night and he was working right alongside his employees taking orders and serving customers.
I did email Corey Bush, and asked for a hoodie and offered Credit Card information to pay for it. I just received an email back from him and he has already sent her a new hoodie, FREE of charge and offered to send whatever else she might want!

Read moreHorrible customer service on every level. Today I placed an order and handed an employee my credit card. And never seen him again. Waited about twenty five minutes as everyone who pulled up behind me got their orders and left. I had to call the store and ask for either my food or my credit card via phone. They sent out someone totally different and said they gave my credit card to someone else and they were going to attempt to Google/Facebook/social media this person and get my card back. I asked to speak to a manager and that lady was absolutely terrible. No remorse or admittance of any sort. She told me to just leave, I was obstructing other customers. I then asked for the owner or a corporate number. She gave me the number to a child who said this has happened before and it’s just a mistake, not to worry about it. The manager whose information I was given, refused to give me any number or email higher than his own. So I called the police. They dispatched an amazing officer who sadly told me this location has actually given him someone else’s card before. Clearly, this location needs a system overhaul, and an owner that will actually post their information should you have an issue. Management shouldn’t drag there knuckles at these systemic issues. Keep in mind, this is the same location that cannot accept cash tips due to an unspecified employee scandal. Absolute $h!t show at the Adams Ave Bush’s in Temple Texas every-time. Read moreTo start, I was already hesitant to go because the tender rolls have bit seemed fresh. I can tell because there wasnt a crunch. I decide to go today around lunch and see it's slower than normal. My first sign that the product may not be up to par. I pull in and the attendant takes my order in a timely fashion. Soon after another attendant brings my order out without the receipt. I ordered the 2 tender meal with a sweet tea. I haven't drank the tea to review it. I did try my fries. The fries were cold and hard. I struggled through about 3 pieces before giving up. I felt no heat from the order overall. With that being said, I tried my tender roll. I bit into it and felt like room temperature which, with these tenders, alters the taste. At this point, I realized I wasted time and money on a subpar meal. I had to Google to find their number to inform them I'll be needing my money back. The associate in the phone obliged yet I had to offer to her to get my information for the return. I was on my lunch break and am frustrated having to inconvenience myself with a refund for a product that is advertised as being served hot when in reality this isn't the truth.
