UPDATED REVIEW 11.15.2023
I recently revisited the Dunkin' in Temple, and I'm delighted to report a remarkably different experience from my previous visits. As soon as I entered the store, I was warmly greeted, setting a welcoming tone for my visit. The staff member who took my order was not only friendly but also engaged in a genuine conversation with me, making the service feel personal and attentive.
What stood out was the noticeable improvement in customer service. It was evident that management has dedicated time and effort to enhancing the overall customer experience. The staff's approachable demeanor and the friendly farewell as I left the store were testaments to these efforts.
Moreover, the coffee I ordered was great, complementing the overall positive experience. It's impressive to see such a quick and effective turnaround in service quality. This change has transformed my perspective on this Dunkin' location. If they continue with this level of service, they can count on having me as a loyal customer for life. Kudos to the team for their hard work and dedication to improvement!
Sincerely, LL

I recently had the opportunity to visit the newest Dunkin' Donuts establishment on West Adams in Temple, TX. As a long-time fan of the Dunkin' Donuts brand, I was excited to have this new location in our community and eagerly looked forward to patronizing it. However, I regret to say that my experience with the customer service left much to be desired.
Upon entering the establishment on two separate occasions, I was disappointed to find that there was no greeting or even a simple acknowledgment that customers were there to spend their money. This lack of basic courtesy was disheartening and detracted from the overall experience.
To give the benefit of the doubt, I visited the store two days in a row to see if my initial encounter was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, I encountered the same lack of acknowledgement and customer engagement on the second visit as well. Consequently, I chose to walk out without placing an order.
Furthermore, my wife visited Dunkin' Donuts when the store first opened to get breakfast for me, and when she returned home, the order was incorrect. This error was particularly surprising and concerning, as Dunkin' Donuts has always held a special place in my heart from my childhood, where "Time to make the Donuts" was the familiar slogan.
In an area where competition among donut and coffee establishments is increasing, one would expect a newly opened Dunkin' Donuts to demonstrate its commitment to being the best in the community. Regrettably, the consistent disappointment in customer service and the incorrect order have led me to question whether this location lives up to the Dunkin' Donuts reputation.
I urge the management and staff at Dunkin' Donuts on West Adams to address these issues promptly. Improving customer service by warmly greeting patrons, ensuring accurate orders, and expressing appreciation for customers' business can go a long way in fostering a positive connection with the community. I believe that by implementing these changes, Dunkin' Donuts can once again become the beloved brand that many of us have cherished for years.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope to see positive changes in the near...
Read moreThis was my first experience coming to Dunkin'. And I have to say that my experience was a little disappointing.
I had heard people rave about the business and hype up their food and beverages for awhile now. So when this location opened, it seemed like a worthwhile visit.
They ran a special today, Oct 21, that the first 100 customers would receive free coffee for a year with a purchase of coffee. This seemed like a great opportunity to try the coffee and see what all the hype was about.
When we arrived, we noticed a long line outside the store. I opted to utilize the drive-thru as I have a back injury and the lack of available seating would have made standing in the line uncomfortable.
I was also worried how long it would take as it seemed the line didn't move much.
However, as I got around to order, I learned that they weren't offering the promotion through the drive-thru and was informed I'd have to stand in the line outside.
While this didn't make much sense to me from a business perspective it was frustrating and I felt that I got left out for a chance at the promotion.
I ordered some coffee anyway to support the business and arrived at the window. Customer service wise, I was also a little disappointed with this experience as well.
No-one was available to greet me at the window and I sat for several minutes before the CSR finally acknowledged I was there. I didn't get a greeting, just payment and a coffee.
As I could also see inside while waiting, I observed, confusingly, that there wasn't a line. So this didn't make much sense to me why they were having people stand in line outside instead.
Coffee-wise, it was okay. I had to wait a long time for it to cool down and made note of the cup used. I'd advise extreme caution when getting hot coffee here.
The cup design has the protective sleeve incorporated into it but its a very poor design. A better design would be a thicker sleeve with an inner corrugated lining to help radiate the heat out.
The current design meant I couldn't hold my coffee without risking a burn through the packaging so I had to set it aside carefully and wait.
I'd also recommend double-checking the lid and ensuring it is sealed. Mine was loose and given how hot the coffee was, a mishap with the cup could easily and severely scald you.
Product-wise, the coffee wasn't that great. It's Arabica and was very acidic. You can tell that they do something similar to McDonalds and likely keep the coffee at a much higher temperature to increase its shelf-life. Another reason to be careful when handling it.
The downside of this process is that the quality of the product is affected. The coffee had an almost burned after-taste that left a silty residue in the mouth after consuming. Now, I will say that this isn't unexpected given the above. Most of the more fast-food type franchises have this problem in quality with their coffee.
But given the hype for an experience that was supposedly better than the rest made this an overall...
Read moreIf I could rate it a zero I would. I always have loved Baskin Robbins and was truly excited for Temple TX to open so close. The service is awful!!!! I have tried doing business with them at least 5 times to only be treated as if I was bothering the employees. The last time I visited the Temple, TX location (1/20/2024 at approx. 12:45PM), I went to the front door to find the front door locked. I drove around to the drive thru where I patiently waited behind the other cars. I watched a black female employee walk across from the car wash where she went inside the back door of Baskin Robbins. When it was finalIy my turn, the person who came on the speaker was a man stating "Dunkin Donuts". I said is Baskin Robbins open? A black female came on the speaker. I asked for something with coconut. She read off far less than 31 flavors. I requested certain flavors to which she said no to all the flavors. No menu stating ice cream flavors. I had been told on a previous visit that if I wanted to know the flavors, I needed to come inside. So that wasn't a choice on this particular visit since the doors were locked. She I once again drove away without making a purchase. I do think the owner needs to hire a secret shopper or they need to make a pop in visit when the employees least expect it. Clean house as I know you didn't open this business to loose money and have a bad reputation. Awfully rude put out employees with a great amount of attitude. I will never go back to this location.
I will however continue driving to the location in Round Rock or Waco. Both of these locations are friendly and they have...
