Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Temple

My son and I really enjoy Marco’s pizza. They’ve delivered before, but this last pizza was totally disappointing. Asked for bacon and got something like a dash of bacon bits. I literally couldn’t see the bacon on the pizza. That’s disappointing in the quality and quantity. Then there were the green bell peppers that you no joke detest on pizza. Why did I order it that way you ask? Glad you asked because I didn’t. I ordered green olives. Love the salty tang of green olives on a pizza with pineapple!! Green peppers are just the worst, next to anchovies. Also the veggies were practically raw. WHO WANTS RAW ONION (or BELL PEPPER) on their pizza??? Not me. It ruined the taste.

Were they just in such a rush that green olives looked like green peppers? And the super sparse micro-bacon? And they couldn’t update cook the pizza properly? I spent $43 (with tip) on a pizza that I swear was on the same level as a frozen Red Baron and r Tombstone which I can get for $5 bucks and I can at least cook it properly.

We like Marco’s and I’ll give them another shot because they e gotten it right before, but if this happens again, we will pop smoke and find a pizzeria that pays attention to detail, that checks the ticket on the pizza box and makes sure the order is right and not be that actually cooks the pizza properly. Thankfully I have a teenager who is basically a 6’4, 205 food disposal machine. Between him and Charlie my dog, it’ll get eaten. I’m making me a sandwich. Unsat and substandard tonight Marco’s please pay attention to detail and cook the dang pizza right.

We have noticed a steady decline in the quality of this place. We frequently order delivery and when we started off it was definitely 5 stars. At 1st they had a cheese overload with very fresh stretchy mozzarella, with abundant high quality toppings and now they have succumbed to mediocre run of the mill chain pizza quality. It's about as bad as Little Caesars or even worse mall pizza. We noticed in particular the ham quality has gone downhill when initially they used to give generous amounts of higher quality ham and now it has a very mediocre flavour at best and they are very skimpily portioned. It looked almost like they used the topping amount for a small pizza and put on a medium crust and tried to spread it out thin. The pizza looked like it was hastily cut in uneven slices. It's very clear whoever's in charge there is not happy about what they're doing and the customer still needs to pay full price for a subpar quality product. Guess we will have to go back to frozen pizza or maybe check out the new Blaze...

Placed an order for a large cheese, large pepperoni and cheesy bread. We’ve ordered from here before for company lunch between 12 and 1pm. The estimated delivery said we would get it at 12:09. I called close to the delivery time and they said it would be here shortly. Jump to 12:22 still no pizza delivered and I call again. They said there was a problem with the first delivery because the customer didn’t answer. That still leaves only 30 mins of our lunch which I told the woman on the phone and she said the delivery driver would be there soon. There was no remorse and apology for the delay and that’s why I’m leaving this review. I understand unexpected delays happen but the least you could do was apologize. Please improve the customer service at this...
