Just received the worst service at this restaurant EVER! I stopped at the location off of Almaville Road in Smyrna, TN with my son this evening. I ordered 2 #2 Combos from the menu, one with coke and one with a Dr. Pepper. Nothing special - just the way they come. I roll up to the first window and the first lady was very polite. I pay and thank her, then roll on to the 2nd window. The young woman there hands me two drinks, neither marked, then asks me what I ordered. I told her. She throws 4 cheeseburgers in the bag and shoves it at me then proceeds to tell me to roll to the third window for my fries. I think to myself that it is a bit unorthodox to wait just for two fries, but not unheard of. So I roll to the third window, where I wait for over 20 minutes. I watch all the people behind me getting their meal bags and begin to wonder why I have not gotten my fries yet. Surely some of those people with large bags have fries. I honk the horn and another woman comes out and asks what I want (!!??!! really?!). I reply, my fries. I wait for another full 5 minutes. Then the lady from the 2nd window comes out and shoves another bag of fries at me...no napkins, no straws...no care for having completely forgotten us...nothing. I have no words to describe the complete apathy for that transition. That more than anything completely irritated me. My food is now cold and I have lost my appetite.....next time I will most definitely go elsewhere for my meal. Not that I was expecting much from a fast food place, but I at least expected it...
Read moreWe ordered through the app to pick up in the drive-thru. Four $5 meals. We were served in a somewhat timely manner, though a FAR cry from McDonald's policy of 2 minutes from the menu board speaker. We pulled into a parking spot to check the bag and were VERY disappointed to find all the fries were not something that should ever come out of a McDonald's kitchen. They were dark brown and so far overcooked they made a noise when tapped on the dash. I had to walk inside to return them and ask for a replacement of all four. The woman who I spoke to snatched the bag from me, crumpled it and tossed it into a garbage can. No apology, but just said she'd get more. She then goes to the kitchen and comes out with a tray of food to deliver to a table. I noticed as she walked by that their fries are ALSO just as overcooked. When she returns to the kitchen, she says something to the big girl at the fry station, who starts to giggle out loud, as the woman takes a trash can and scoops all the fries into the garbage. We finally got our fresh, PROPERLY cooked fries, but later discovered that, not only had they served crappy fries, they didn't put the dipping sauces, ketchup or napkins in our bag either. 🙄 ALWAYS check your bag...
Read moreTerrible experience. I ordered a deluxe crispy chicken sandwich, and it was missing the lettuce and the bottom bun. Then I got a regular crispy chicken sandwich, and it didn’t have the pickles that are normally included. This kind of thing usually doesn’t happen, but it was really disappointing.
Edit: I had a terrible experience at this McDonald’s. I ordered two Happy Meals with apple juice, and instead of just handing over the drinks, the guy at the window told me to park in spot #3 to wait for the juice. I waited for about 10 minutes before I had to go back through the drive-thru, only to find out he was supposedly “getting juice from another location” because they had run out. No one told me they were out of juice in the first place, and I wasn’t offered any alternative drink options either.
It’s ridiculous that I had to sit and wait with zero communication. Meanwhile, all the employees I could see in the kitchen were just chatting and not actively working. If they’d been busy trying to fix the issue, that would be one thing, but it felt like nobody cared about serving the customers. Very disappointing and a complete lack of...
