While the food was good, the atmosphere was not.

First off, things happen, but if your AC is out, you might want to place a sign visibly on the door (if there was one, I definitely missed it) We ordered and as we sat there I overheard someone make a comment ‘no AC , no Customers…’ as a couple left after being seated, and asking why it was so hot. (Honestly, I wish we would have left as soon as I heard this, but we had already placed our order.) Secondly, the waiter(s) that we had serving us went out of their way to make sure an allergy issue (cross contamination) was avoided, which is really the only reason I’m giving a 2 star, along with an apology from one of the waiters due to the last issue. Lastly, and the biggest issue we had tonight was the ‘conflict’ amongst the waiters/waitresses. Someone stormed through the door, went to the back, and retrieved another worker. All while as a customer I could hear everything. She was taken outside of the restaurant after being told ‘… to walk outside and have a real adult conversation with me..’ It was just all around uncomfortable. Once the worker came back inside, she then loudly, and without a care continued to rant about whatever issue she/they were having with the other workers. This is when the apology from the waiter came in. He came and asked if I could hear everything in the back.. I kind of smiled and said, ‘yes.’ He told Me, it was really unacceptable & that it was the SECOND time it had happened today. He then asked if he could make the experience any better by turning on music to Drowned the arguing out.. We quickly finished and proceeded to leave. If it were me and only me, I probably wouldn’t have left a review, but seeing how I had my children with me, we probably won’t be back. I will NEVER EAT AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! I ordered a Stromboli asked for cheese only and got one with pepperoni and mushrooms on it called up to ask them to fix it they said it would be 15 minutes I did not have the time to wait so I asked for my money back they would not do it all because I got a piece of cake for free because a sign in the lobby stated that if you purchase over 25 dollars you get a free dessert I did purchase that amount so I asked for it they gave it to me, the part owner or so she called herself said that since I got the cake and that my order was under 25 dollars that she could do nothing for me unless I brought them back! Why should I have the time to run the food back up for their mistake she treated me like I was trying to pull something over on them but i assure you I got a messed up Stromboli and my order was over 25 dollars she just did not want to give me my money back! This place obviously does not appreciate their customers but that’s fine by me I will take my money elsewhere to someone who wants to make me out to be the bad one when they made the mistake not me! I wish I would have had the time to take back the nasty cake and Stromboli I got but I had to be at work cause I would have threw it in her face the way she treated me was totally...

We called Monday to see if they would be open for dinner as my stepmother has been placed in hospice and this is her favorite place to eat. He said they were closing at 4:00 pm which was too quick for us to get there, and upon hearing that he offered to stay open until 5:00 so we could get there. When we arrived at 4:30 they treated us like family from the moment we arrived until we left. They made her last experience there amazing and were sure to make sure she had everything she wanted and needed. To say it was amazing would not do it justice for how special they made us feel here. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was second to none and the attitude and compassion made our hearts so full we were overwhelmed. The owner and his wife deserve to have as much business as they could possibly handle and want, people like them are very hard to find these days but when you do they deserve to be supported. You won’t regret your decision to have a meal here on any level, give them a try and experience what it’s like to be treated with gratitude and respect from people that have wonderful souls and truly appreciate your business.
