Merrimack Valley Pavilion — Restaurant in Tewksbury

I really hate to give out one star reviews, but damn, if any place ever deserved it, this is it!

To start with my wife and I play A LOT of mini golf; we really do! So a random Sunday drive landed us here. What a mistake!

We walked up to the windows, pressed the bell for service. Waited 10 minutes, eventually a family with a small boy just walked in! There was literally NOBODY at the counter! Walked over to the ice cream counter, and there was only one poor girl there that didn't think it was her responsibility to help anyone? I'm going to assume that she thought there was someone else on the other side, maybe? Needless to say we finally got a putter and ball after standing around for about 20 minutes.

On to the first hole we go! The tee mats were trash, the carpet on the holes wasn't much better, and my wife fell and twisted her ankle on an unexpected dip on the right side of the hole. The layout is strange, because after you hole out...you need to walk backward to get to the next hole! Thankfully there wasn't a group behind us, but now I know why! This place has visable mold on the carpet in the cave hole. Crumbling bricks on most holes, no handrails or safety equipment on the stairs, and some REALLY TRASHY carpet on the majority of the holes! Please spend your money somewhere else...this owner clearly has no pride of ownership.

It really was in such a state of disrepair that we weren't even comfortable getting ice cream afterward, which is a real shame on a hot humid day!

We won't be back ever again! Just YUCK! I hope they either close this place soon, or sell it to someone who cares! I do feel bad for the high school kids that need summer...

I honestly have not experienced such terrible service at a location in a long time. Absolutely no one was friendly. And there was at least 5 or 6 staff members. No one greeted us. After we ordered and ate food, that was absolutely gross btw, we wanted to mini-golf. We stood at the counter, no one appeared. 4 to 5 staff members SAW us waiting and no one came over. Two made eye contact as we waited and still NOTHING. We finally had to walk over to the food counter and expressly ask to be helped. The male who came over clearly had hoped we would go away rather than have to do his job. Let me tell you, I WISH we walked away. It was the worst mini-golf course I have ever seen. So many broken parts and features. Not kept up at all. I truly wish I got pictures of how dilapidated and run down the place was. We only finished because we paid $13/per person after spending almost $20/per person on frozen reheated burgers and fries with a drink.

There are SO sooo many better places to have a nice time with your family/friends. Avoid this one. We will...

Went in around 400 on a Friday with 5 boys. No one in the place. Their rules were... games go off on the 20 past and 10 of the hour. Since no one was in there for our 20 minute wait,nor showed up during our over an hour later time in there. ( I consider it...Wasting customers time) and this place is not on a full scale laser tag as we were used to. No charging stations. No screens around displaying scores. Even the worker that brought us in wasnt very enthusiastic. Wanted a little more pizazz, I guess, for my money. $115.00 for the boys to play 2 games of laser tag. Plus the extra $$ I spent while "waiting " for th click to be the "right" time. Owners need to give the workers leeway to sway from the rules on occasion. I called ahead and was told by a nice wkmn that "there were no birthday parties schedule, so we should have no problem when we came in" never told about the "tag times"... ...ok so overall the boys had fun, but it definitely could have been better...
