Fairly new to the area and wanted to try a new Thai restaurant. I usually have my “go to” dishes that I always get at a typical Thai joint. I got thunder noodles (same/similar to drunken noodle) that came with ground chicken, garlic fried rice and crispy chicken. Sadly, I was very disappointed! I originally called to get tofu with my thunder noodles but the lady stated that “no substitutions were allowed”. I did find this strange as I have never encountered this problem with switching out the protein. The garlic fried rice lacked the “garlic and fried” aspect. It also was very soggy. The crispy chicken had absolutely no authentic Thai flavor! It tasted more like a Chinese dish. Price: Average $/$$ Portions: Average Location: Accessible/Plenty of Parking/Off Main Road Taste: Not Authentic Online Ordering: Yes, Fees Associated Dining: Dine-In/Take-Out

Food: Ordered Korean noodles and Drunken noodles with tofu — both tasted great, but the portion sizes were small for the $18 price for each entree, and there was very little tofu. The Sticky Rice & Mango dessert was disappointing, as the mangoes were sour and not sweet. On top of that, they charge a 3.5% service fee for credit card payments, which adds to the already pricey menu — carry cash if you want to avoid the extra fee. Service: Service was polite and efficient. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time — neither too quick nor too delayed. Hygiene: The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and well-maintained. Parking: Plenty of free parking available right outside, which is a big plus. Ambience: Quiet location with a spacious interior and a relaxed atmosphere.

Sorry Mango II, too many issues tonight for me to rank you well. I ordered Pad Thai Country - Medium spice and spicy wings appetizer. Wings were dry, and covered in cilantro (which tastes terrible to me). Pad Thai Country had a weird taste to it. Lastly, your tiny little sign advertising that you charge 3.5% convenience fee for credit card users only. If it applies only to credit card users, it is not a convenience fee, it is a credit card fee. "Due to rising costs of everything" “we're asking you to pay a small convenience fee of 3.5%”. I tried to say no. It is not an ask; it is a required. Nice try. My advice - drive on. You can get way better Thai food without all the secret cilantro and mysterious fees.

Wonderful Thai food, with a menu is overwhelmingly long (11 pages just for food, plus thousands of possible combinations on their "create your own dish" menu). Very creative names on the menu too.

As others have said, the curry puffs are very good. They have great Pad Thai, which has just the right balance of flavors and is neither dry, gummy, nor greasy. The spicy Country Style version is very good too. They also have lots of good Thai-style curry options, both with and without coconut milk, although the different flavors aren't well described on the menu. I've had the massaman and yellow curries, both of which were very good. I can't wait to get back and try more of the menu.

From the outside the restaurant looks rather dull, and its location between used car dealers and empty lots isn't wouldn't seem to bode well, but the inside is very modern and pleasant, with lots of natural wood and tasteful bold colors. With dimmer lighting, this restaurant could even be described as elegant or romantic, but as it is the very bright lighting gives it a bit of a fast-food restaurant feel.

This stripmall restaurant is really a hidden gem, and I'm sure it would be regularly packed if it were closer...

I’ve been a loyal customer at Mango II Thai cuisine for over 10 years, but the past several visits, I’ve seen a steady decline that’s hard to ignore. While the food quality has generally held up, the service has gone downhill. Lately, the server hovers around the table, giving off a rushed vibe, even with empty tables and plenty of time before closing. She repeatedly asks if we’re done, which makes it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal.

Another noticeable issue is the portion sizes. Despite rising prices, the servings have gotten smaller, especially with proteins. Dishes are mostly large chunks of vegetables, even when we pay extra for meat. This pattern of declining portions and increasing prices feels disappointing and frustrating, given how much I’ve enjoyed this place over the years.

After seeing this decline on multiple visits, I’m starting to feel like it may not be worth coming back. It’s disappointing to think of letting go of a spot that’s been a favorite, but the experience just isn’t what...
