Chicken Express — Restaurant in Texarkana

Okay I showed up 10 minutes before they close but I only ordered 2-4piece tender meals. The girl on the speaker says "I only have spicy and I ain't cooking no more" with an attitude like I'm doing something wrong and I doubt the girl taking orders is cooking also, but I said "ok I'll take spicy then" . Another voice comes on the speaker and says "I'm sorry I only have enough for one of those meals". So 10 minutes before closing you only have 4 pieces of chicken for sale. Why not just close at 9:50 if that's going to be the work ethic for the place. I guess you just have to get lucky to get freshly cooked chicken not under the heat lamp. I used to eat there twice a week I avoided the fish because it was always overcooked at this particular store but the chicken was fair. Now they ain't getting anymore of my money. There's nothing worse than someone getting an attitude with you over a drive thru speaker. Since I'm not going back I should have told them what I thought about their work ethic and attitude. Every other chicken express restaurant I've been to had wonderful attitudes and was pleasant to order from. So don't take this review for any other store. The others are always...

Stopped here on our way to a ball tournament because it's usually my daughter's favorite place in Magnolia. They "open" at 10:30. We ordered and spent $32 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat. There was one other couple in the restaurant and we didn't get our food until 11:00. Then they told us it'd be another 10 minutes to get our spicy tenders.

Ultimately, they weren't ready to open at 10:30 they were jusy getting things started. It would have been nice to have been told of the wait on the front end instead of letting us sit around and wait for half an hour.

To make things worse, the grease wasn't hot enough when they cooked the tenders and they came out a greasy mess.

Definitely won't visit this...

If you are looking for great chicken, fish, livers, or gizzards... This is your place! And the customer service is far more superior to that of any other fast food restaurant I've ever been to!!! Definitely my new go-to when we don't want to cook at home!
