This is a newly remodeled unit. It sits at a busy intersection with strip centers Walmart and other retailers. Not very busy at about 4pm. We ordered 14 pc bucket and large coleslaw to go. We're told 45 min wait because the batter was coming off the chicken after being cooked, this was original recipe, so she made a new batch with a 45min. wait. People continued to go in and out getting drinks but no chicken. There was another guy waiting before we got there so hard telling what had happened. Staff for the next shift were arriving cleaning etc. very friendly staff and apologetic. The one behind the counter was giving away drinks with an apology and wait time. Many took the drink and left. The guy before us finally got his order with a few extra pieces of chicken. Our coleslaw was on the house and extra chicken as well. Very nice lady, just strange how all this played out. Got home, chicken over battered and coleslaw fresh but very dry. Will not go back. We had tried the other KFC in the area on Stateline St. 60 min. Wait on chicken and coleslaw tomorrow. Another customer said sometimes they are barely open because they run out of product, sometimes even close. This was supper time 5pm. Somebody needs supervisor attention. We are visiting, RVrs. Read moreThe absolute worst. I mean everyone knows your not going to get the correct order, but my most recent experience made me a Popeyes guy for life. Used the app to place a sizable order. Got notification it was ready to pick up which is unusual because that never happens. Drive all the way there. Wait at the the drive through sign for 10 minutes asking if anyone is there. Finally someone comes on to say it will be another 3-4 minutes before they can help me because they don't have a cook. I wait and when they come back I say we'll the app says my order is ready. The person says we have no chicken ready and it will be 35-45 minutes before we have any. I say well please cancel my order and I will be calling CS. Called CS and they say they can't cancel the order, and will have someone from that department call me back. 2 weeks later not a peep. Oh and they store still charged me. I have disputed through the credit card company, but still a horrific experience. I can't imagine who still eats here. Hope...
Read moreI am a former employee of kfc new boston rd. The original cookers dont work like they are supposed to. They have a bunch of kids as managers and they do NOT take pride in their jobs. They are always on their phones when they should be taking orders. Even the general manager thinks it's funny when customers are ran off. She's never there to supervise and when she is she's always on her phone. They handle the food with their bare hands and when they use gloves they are suppose to use tongs. Customers are waiting in excess of 10 to 30 minutes maybe more to get their order. The drive thru is always full due to employees or storing and recalling orders correctly. A few employees dont know the difference between white/dark meat. They need to hire better managers and area coaches who are willing to take time out to train the employees properly in order to have an effective food chain.
