This was such a nice getaway. The food was amazing, I ate way too much. I'm sorry I didn't take pics of the food, I was just so hungry. We got fajitas for two (my brother and I). They cooked the bell peppers soft, the way I asked, the onions were grilled well too, I can't stand raw onions. We got the beef and chicken. I usually don't do beef fajitas at Mexican restaurants because the beef is too dry but theirs was moist and full of flavor. The flour tortillas looked homemade, and the salsa, 😋, so good. Their hot sauce was a little bit too hot for me but when I mixed it with the red and green sauce it was perfect. Hot enough to make your mouth tingle and your nose run but not enough to make you sweat or make your ear canals burn, lol. Y'all know what I mean. My Daddy loved hot peppers he made me some salsa once that, I kid you not, opened my stopped up head, cleared out my ears, and made me cough up mucus from my chest. I thanked him later after four pieces of bread and two bottles of water. It was the best I had breathed in quite sometimes. Okay, that being said, they make great salsa too and their chips were perfectly thick enough for dipping but still light enough to chew. I had the sweetest little gal for my waitress, her name was Emily. She was very helpful at getting our order, very respectful, and kept our diet coke and tea filled before we ran out. I love that! My sister-n-law has been in the hospital for months and my brother has just come back from three days there. He was so happy to get some good food. I think we'll go back again and try the tres leche dessert. I loved the sopapillas, they were amazing.

I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I never give 5 stars because there's always something I didn't care for at a restaurant, but I found no flaws in their food or service.
Please give them a try, I don't believe you'll be disappointed.
Remember, make somebody...
Read moreJust got back from Armenta’s. This place had never disappointed until today. Waitress was seen very little by my party and I. I ordered the chicken and beef fajita combo, took a long time for us to get our food. When food finally arrived, they just gave me the skillet that was not even sizzling, and the tortillas. After I finally flagged the waitress down and asked her if this was all, no rice and beans, she just took off and brought me cold refried beans and rice and put it on table. I asked her for the menu, because I could have sworn I read it came with charro beans, which it did but they just threw cold rice and beans on the table. Manager came and asked how was everything, I told her very bad. She took off without hearing why it was bad. When I finally got the check, I showed the waitress the burnt tortillas,...
Read moreMy honest opinion is, if the salsas were served warm, that would be amazing. My other honest opinion is to have a taco made in a taco shell and not a bowl. I've pretty much mastered the process with a regular crunchy shell, but I've never practiced eating a taco out of a bowl. Maybe add a little more seasoning to your rice. Then I can give 5 stars because your service is already there. The last thing is our check was $24 & change, but the receipt to be signed said $12 & change. My husband brought this to the waiters attention and he supposedly corrected it. When I reviewed my checking account ( for other reasons) I discovered both charges processing. Actually the $24 processed and the $12 was pending. Hopefully pending to be credited back or drop off. I'll have to check it again. Otherwise,...
