Crust Pizza Co. - Gleannloch Farms — Restaurant in Texas

I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit to Crust Pizza. They have a good variety of interesting entrees, as well as salads and desserts. Their desserts look amazing, but we passed on it tonight. Usually I have trouble finding pizza that isnt the usual blah that most places serve. We got the garlic knots, kids alfredo, the Carl's King calzone, and a small kids pizza. Overall, the food was pretty good. The calzone was really good. Has a great sauce and quality ingredients. The knots were great too. The kids alfredo was okay, except the chicken, which tasted old or like it came pre cooked in a box. The worst part of the experience was that the forgot to make the kids pizza we ordered. So, my youngest son ends up being the one who has to wait an extra 10 minutes. It was an understandable mistake. It happens. Nothing was offered to make it better. I didnt expect anything, and wasnt angry - just describing the experience. Could have been better. We'll be back and hopefully next time is better. Oh, and the atmosphere is good. Great outdoor...

So I probably frequent Crust about every 14 days. It’s very close to my work and house. My kids and wife enjoy it too. Today is my birthday and we celebrated this weekend, so I figured I would grab some pizzas from crust. I called in an order for 2 large pizzas: a cheese for the kids and a margarita for me and my wife. Unfortunately, Crust gave a veggie instead of the margarita. My wife detests onions, mushrooms and olives on pizza. I gave them a call letting them know that I had an incorrect order. They fixed it, offering another pizza to make up for the mistake. They told me it would be ready in 45 minutes. I get there and the lady taking orders has no idea what I’m talking about and no record of my wife ordering pizzas. After about 5 minutes… the find my margarita pizza… it is very cold and under another name. It was a little apathetic on how it was handled. I am annoyed that I didn’t get to share dinner with my family on my birthday. There are a lot of pizza places in the area, and I will most likely try a different...

Every time I have been to crust it has been good food. This Sunday, we ordered for curbside pickup. Once we got home and started eating, I bit into something that didn't taste right. I pulled a piece of plastic that was at least 4 inches long and 1 inch wide out of my mouth that was in the pizza roll. Not only is this unsanitary, it is a choking hazard. I called Crust and spoke to the manager who asked me to send her the picture and said she'd process a refund and was "sorry for the inconvenience". To me, it wasn't an inconvenience, it was a safety hazard. I received a refund for the one order of pizza rolls, but we threw both orders and garlic knots out as we did not feel comfortable eating them. I was expecting a refund for our whole order, not just the one that had the plastic. I was also disappointed that the manager only said "sorry for the inconvenience" without any remorse and only cared about sending...
